You're right, I forgot Sega had quite the subsantial fanbase on PC as well thanks to their strategy games and recent effort to port some series in their catalogue. 

Doesn't change that Nintendo has quite the relationship with Sega (even making exclusives for their system as well) and it wouldn't sound farfetched to think Nintendo has interest in them.

Sure Nintendo could buy them. I was just pointing that perhaps it is the worse in profits for sega currently.
