Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Sega DETERMINED to “CRACK core gaming” on Wii -- Madworld sold well enough!

madworld wasn't that great of a game anyway... people aint missing much with that title, theirs no replay value in the game.. its fun slaughtering people thats about it

According to me it was a decent game, but it just was not worth a full price. It should have been priced either 34.99 or 39.99. Not that much replay value + short game + full price = bad sales. Still it managed to get to 350k even before it's released in Japan.

Around the Network

There was lots of replay value, ive put over 30 hours into madworld just on normal mode by doing the death watch challenges, and i havnt got them all yet

Sega wants Wii to be more hardcore? Then make for Wii Phantasy star, Shenmue, Jet set radio, a new decent Sonic, and of course Madworld sequel.

What bothers me about Sega is they don't care to make hits anymore. They seem to be in the business of doing, "well enough." This is why many developers go under.
