Are you actually going to say 360 fans don't believe they have the best lineup year after year? Come on. Are you going to admit to me that the 360 has a weaker lineup? I don't think so. I've seen threads where BOTH sides argued "my lineup is betterz!". Truth be told, they are both great.

 

 The fact that you actually thought that the 360 fanboys are in the majority on this site is mind blowing..

OT - I've admitted that the 360 lineup is in trouble this year... without any new exclusive annoucements 360 fanboys will have trouble saying they truly own a console with the best software lineup.

Of course the biggest problem with PS3 fanboys are the insults. I've been insulted so many times on this site by members with KZ2/MGS4 pictures plastered all over their sig that anytime I see one I automatically assume the person is a giant PS3 fanboy.

I didn't say that the 360 fanboys were in the majority, I said that they were just as loud. Prior to that statement, I never mentioned one group of fanboys being larger, louder then the others or anything else. Just that xbox 360 fanboys have gotten louder, probably due to the fact that a new "big" PS3 exclusive is coming out and they can't help but attack it.

Microsoft will announce more quality games coming out this year, so you have nothing to fear. Regardless of that, the 360 has got it's fair share of increadilbe titles coming. Either way, I've seen 360 fanboys claim they have the better lineup just like the PS3 fanboys.

Insults go both ways. Both sides do it, your just singling out a single group that does it. That's not fair. You know very well that 360 fanboys insult as well. Hell, bbsin made a thread asking if ps3 owners would buy a bad port of ME2 if it were to come out and he was immediately attacked for implying the game was coming out to ps3. It was rediculous. Also, I would like to mention that you've been banned for trolling the ps3 on multiple occasions. I remember one day when you had 4 or more anti ps3 threads on the first page so you should know that ps3 fanboys would attack you. That doesn't make it better, but you did make a target out of yourself with all of your trolling in the past.

 I'm surprised to see 100 new posts since I went to bed last night. I'll skim over and see what I find.

 

You make it sound like my threads were troll threads.. Quoting and posting articles from the New York Times and Reuters about the state of the Yen and Sony shouldn't be considered trolling. I kept any personal bias out of the post, just trying to report facts for our lovely PS3 members here.

Oh btw, when I got banned, no post id# was attached, that's because none of my post had me saying anything trollish.

 

 You know what. I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt. I'll retract my statement. But can you honestly tell me you've never been banned for trolling? Again, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but someone will probably correct your statement if your wrong. I honestly don't know. I was under a strong impression that you were though. But if indeed you have not been banned for trolling before, then I apologize.

I don't know, both sides have always seemed equally bad to me. I've noticed that nearly everyone who says PS3 fanboys are the worst are 360 fanboys (or people that prefer the 360) and nearly everyone who says 360 fanboys are the worst are PS3 fanboys (or people that prefer PS3). Which isn't at all bland and predictable. It's just one big coincidence.

You may not realize it but some of us came into that thread genuinely confused. Those of us who are used to Gears of war shortened to gears and god of war shortened to GOW could have been genuinely confused. I didn't realize you were talking about gears till I saw that the topic was in the M$ discussion because I didn't even know what God of War sold. I'm pretty sure even some fans of the 360 were confused as well.

If you make a thread, you should clarify what you mean, it's not up to others to read your mind.

GOW 1 - 5.86 mill

GOW 2-  4.something mill

Whats not to get?

God of war has never reached these numbers and everone on this site knows that and also why would the J man ask this if the ps2 is at the end of its cycle and there is around a 1 mil lead and god of war 2 isnt selling beans?

 

If you didnt read the op and just the title , the logical answer would be something like the underlined above , but if you did and still didnt realize that it was gears of war and not god of war..... the J man is speechless

 

What surprises me is that you couldn't understand my first post in that thread was a joke.

Yes there's something not to get. We should know what the thread is about right from the title. I highly doubt you read the OP of this thread before jumping in. I don't think you'd consider Garnett a ps3 fanboy...did you read his post? Many of us who had ps2's  know GOW as God of War, end of story. If you think it stands for gears of war, you should clarify in the title. We can't be looking up sales numbers just to know what you're talking about. Like I said, I didn't know what God of war's sales were like and I voucher that I've been on this site longer than you.

It's not up to the reader to "figure out" what you're trying to express. It's up to the writer to clarify what he/she is expressing.

 Some people LIKE to be stupid about it though. When they do these stupid things it makes others feel more secure about themselves. So actually, when people go to the j-man's thread saying "oh you didnt mean god of war?" they are doing us a service. We feel smart.

You don't want to bring personal insults into this. I already stated in a previous post that I didn't realize what game he was talking about until I saw it was in the M$ forum. If you're not following a discussion don't butt in with silly remarks and if something is clear to you doesn't make it clear to me.

Whining? Nope. I made a joke in that thread and then YOU were the one who instead of taking it as a joke said that Gears desrves the abbreviation because it sold more which then exploded into a back and fourth between members, which then lead into Squillilam making a thread about it. You had just as much to contribute to what happened to that thread as my original post. As far as that argument went though, all I did was say God of War came first and ended it at that. Hardly whining. Although you came off as very whiney when you got all uptight about me questioning the sales of Gears of War (one of my favorite games I might add).

The J man asked a question "doesnt the shorter abreviation go to the bigger game?"

and then someone said god of war is bigger and then the J man put up the sales and at the end of the post said "this isnt the point of the thread"

The J man takes it back you werent whining about GOW abbreviation......... you were whining about GOW 1 being overtracked which is equally as stupid and fanboyish.

I believe the only real difference is that now the 360 is outselling the ps3, 360 supporters arguments have more weight to them. So bascally its a trade of 1 sides fanboy tears to the other. That still doesn't change the fact that the 360 is the most under-represented demographic in this site behind pc gaming.
