Nomura doesn't seem to like the idea of it going multiplat. Course he really doesn't have a huge say in the matter in Sqeenix wants to, but I can't possibly see them doing anything else to tick Sony off.

If FF5 and 6 are remade I think they will go to the DS.... and then... .don't ask why, but 7-9 would go to PSP... it's just a thought....

From what I understood, SONY has console rights to the Tekken series. Don't hold me to this. I don't think Tekken is going anywhere. I think it's staying on the PS3 and in the Arcades.

As for this rumor... am wondering if this is true... what's SONY going to do? If it's true then they must know about it. If they didn't then they could Sue SE for misleading a stock holder. Perhaps this is the reason for the large number of ps3 games unannounced to be announced at TGS? To counter this megaton against the ps3 that MS is waiting to reveal??

If you know Square-Enix, they don't mind pissing off anyone as long as they make money.

"What Nintendo? You are still going with cartridges?"

"Hey Sony, we are gonna screw over Nintendo, let us use those CD's you got. Cost less than those carts Nintendo is using."

Then we come to this.

"Hey Sony, you got money to dish out to us for FFXIII and Versus exclusive?"

"Yo Microsoft, Sony doesn't want to pay up. We are gonna pull a Nintendo on them and send our games your way too. More money in our pockets."

I could see that happening. This is Sqaure-Enix (Squaresoft, much better name IMO) we are talking about. They already hit Sony hard with the timed exclusivity of Last Remnant and exclusive of Infinite Undiscovery and Star Ocean 4 (possibly multi in the future, why else would they re-release SO1 and 2 on Sony handheld while having 3 on the PS2?). Although I am pretty sure those costed something.

knowing SE they will probably be true to their word and say that PS3 is getting FFXIII for japan only.. then announce that the 360 will be getting FFXIII international which has extra monsters not found in the japanese game blah blah blah..

There is a bit of a difference though. Nintendo lost the game completely. SONY just had it went Crossplatform with their main competitor.....

SE say they're doing this(FFXIII Multiplat) to Widen their Audience etc. Then why the hell is SO4 TLR Etc Timed Exclusive?

Probably not worth the costs of making a Japanese version of the game for 360. Of course if MS paid them a sum then they'll do it but whatever. Otherwise its unlikely.

Star ocean 4 isn't timed exclusive, so its impossible to answer that question without dropping SO4 from the argument. 

As for TLR, its probably because of less production costs and the ease of coding for 360.
