#50: Probably the best PC-exclusive fighting game there is.

  1. Giants robots are duking it out
  2. In the story mode, you can level up both your pilot and machine independently
  3. There's a hyper mode that makes all the actions super-fast and combos possible that are otherwise totally impossible. Oh, and there are scrap moves that totally destroy the enemy robot.
  4. One must know how to fight well in this game

#48: Looks a lot like Metroid, but isn't Metroid

  1. Originally released on the venerable C64, though ports to other machines followed very quickly
  2. The Original came out in 1990 and really pushed the C64 to it's limits. Apaprt from the gameplay, it's fondly remembered for it's soundtrack.
  3. After the success of the C64 and Amiga versions, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum and Atari ST followed quickly afterwards in 1990, until it arrived also on the Megadrive/Genesis until it finally released on the PC Engine/Turbografx and the Gameboy in 1991.
  4. The game got several sequels until 1995, and the Amiga versions of the first 3 ones came rereleased in a Flashback collection in 2020 for the 30th anniversary of the series.

#46: Ever wanted to shoot your console? In this game, you can in the final level.

  1. A Sega game where you can meet characters like Sonic, Alex Kidd or Samba de Amigo
  2. The game id for the most part a simulation with RPG combat, though instead of actually fighting you insult or encourage the enemies you encounter in dungeons.
  3. Your job in this game? Lead a video game company to dominate the market with great games and a great console, and defeat the rival company.
  4. This game is totally GAGA.

#43: Lead your people from the Stone Age to the Space Age.

  1. Unlike Civilization, this God Game is in real time
  2. As a God Game, you have make some godly interventions sometimes like healing your citizens, striking UFOs with lightning strikes or protecting them under a protective dome

#47 (Yeah I forgot that one initially, sorry): A PC pinball game with 3 tables and a horror movie level design

  1. The 3 tables are called Castle, Dungeon and Laboratory

#42: A pirate adventure game where you're out to find Big Whoop.

  1. Unlike pretty much all the other games in the series, this one doesn't include any insult swordfighting.

#41: That title music, it will never leave IT WILL NEVER LEAVE!

Switching to the tried and true 5 hints at a time format

#45 - One of the few direct sequels in this real-time JRPG series

#44 - In this mostly great game one mediocre plot twist is the changing of a letter in the main characters name

#43 - Watermelons beware

#42 - Considered the GOAT by many. Considered #42 by me

#41 - If you look up you'll see a giant nose

#43: I have my doubts, but Fruit Ninja maybe?

As for #42, I don't know if I should say Ocarina of Time or Deus Ex, but considering it's probably more on console games, I think the former has higher chances to be correct.

43) nope

42) OOT is correct

These are difficult but I at least know that 42 is a Monkey Island game. Guess I'll say Curse of Monkey Island.
