50. Eternal Darkness?

48. Sonic the Hedgehog (8-Bit)?

47. Space Station Silicon Valley?

44. Metal Gear Solid?

43. Goldeneye?

41. Super Mario 3D World?

50. A new IP, but a spiritual successor to a GBA spinoff of another series.

49. If you play the wrong route, you're gonna have a bad time.

48. A revival of a classic platforming series.

47. A bit of a guilty pleasure, but it is fun to mess around in this frigid world.

46. The third entry in an RPG series, released on the DS.

45. The year is 1807, and you need to make an insurance report.

44. An indie platformer where the greatest obstacle is a foot-tall barrier.

43. A roguelike strategy game IN SPACE.

41. In 2028, a Sigma male gets kidnapped and then learns about parallel universes.

#50: Probably the best PC-exclusive fighting game there is. One Must Fall, but nobody found it out

  1. Giants robots are duking it out
  2. In the story mode, you can level up both your pilot and machine independently
  3. There's a hyper mode that makes all the actions super-fast and combos possible that are otherwise totally impossible. Oh, and there are scrap moves that totally destroy the enemy robot.
  4. One must know how to fight well in this game
  5. One must try this game, as it's freeware now.

#43: Lead your people from the Stone Age to the Space Age.

    1. Unlike Civilization, this God Game is in real time
    2. As a God Game, you have make some godly interventions sometimes like healing your citizens, striking UFOs with lightning strikes or protecting them under a protective dome
    3. The inhabitants of the planet that you develop are called Nuggets who like Rayman don't seem to have limbs.
    4. Since you're a god, the inhabitants sometimes ask you to do some godly feats for them.

#47 (Yeah I forgot that one initially, sorry): A PC pinball game with 3 tables and a horror movie level design

    1. The 3 tables are called Castle, Dungeon and Laboratory
    2. In the Castle multiball, the castle gate tower becomes a giant angry face with the gate becoming teeth and it constantly says "FEED ME!"
    3. It's part of a Pinball series from Sierra On-Line

#40: This game series from Stardock got often called a successor to Master of Magic, here in it's third iteration.

    1. It's the technically the third iteration like I mentioned above, but also the first iteration, as the second replaced the first and the third replaced the second one entirely.

#39: Thwart a global alien invasion with your handful of soldiers

And 46 - Golden Sun: Dark Dawn?

46 is incorrect, however, correct on the other two. As the great Jim Steinman wrote (and the great Meat Loaf sang) - two out of three ain't bad.

All of these are correct, although you were just edged out on Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario 3D World

(I had to reorder some numbers again. My bad for thinking I could remember the list of the top of my head)

#44 - In this mostly great game one mediocre plot twist is the changing of a letter in the main characters name.

    • Most characters in the game have codenames with one letter and number

    #43 - Watermelons beware.

    • Not Fruit Ninja, but my steam review for the game reads: "Fruit Ninja on steroids."

#42 - Isn't it a little weird to call the first game in a series Origins?

#40 - If you look up you'll see a giant nose

    • On a certain celestial object

    44: Nier: Automata

    42: Dragon Age: Origins?

    40: Majora's Mask?

    All three correct!

    Only 43 remains.

    More hints!

#45 - Gorilla, Zebra, Ostrich, Elephant, Snake.
#44 - A leaker recently claimed that this 2004 game will get a remake in the future, with a gaudy Unreal Engine 5 coat of paint, no doubt.
#43 - The franchise started by this game has come a long way, with many sequels and side projects, including a musou spin-off just this month.
#42 - The auteur behind this Switch title just spent over 100 minutes selling us on his new game.
#41 - You could call this game PlayStation All-Stars Bot-tle Royale.

    41) Astro Bot? :D

    44) Haven't heard of the leak but Half Life 2 comes to mind
