Whoaaaa. When you look at them in a list like that... I've never gotten so many platinums in such a short space of time never mind actually having such fun, some games there were over double the B line story game time for the plat like Wu Kong, Expedition 33 and Khazan and those 3 never lost their fun, in fact they were much better cause of the plats. Feels good.

Btw, how is Lies of P? On my wishlist.

The world design is visually one of the best I’ve seen. The overall story and characters are decent and the OST is outstanding. The combat tho, whilst being pretty basic is a complete joke due to how unbalanced the game is and is easily the worst I’ve experienced in a souls-like . I’m probably 40hrs in (currently playing the DLC and just beat the 3rd main boss of it) and just the difference of how quickly a standard respawning enemy can destroy you vs … an actual main boss is staggering. Also gotta say this game has the worst stun locking of any game I’ve played. It’s rough but if you can get passed that bullshit then it’s pretty decent. Runs flawlessly on PS5 Pro!

edit: seems like the devs agree with me too coz patch 1.9 nerfed NG+. Just finished the DLC which was actually pretty damn good.

Ride The Chariot | ‘25 Completion

Platinum #24 - Untitled Goose Game. Needed to replay something short.

Ride The Chariot | ‘25 Completion

Platinum #25 - Donut Country. Some may say this is one of the greatest indie games of all time and they would be right :) .. that’s two short indie replays before I drop 100hrs+ on Death Stranding 2.

Trying to Platinum a game called Keepers toll and people are getting this Platinum sub 16 hours and I have no idea what the trick is, I'm already past that and at the rate I'm going for the last few trophies it'll be 30 hours or close to it for maxing all characters. I have obviously missed something crucial about EXP gain but since there is no guide and no info online after searching I guess I'll have to grind. No worries, it's still fun but It's not like this is packed with content, it'll be repeating the same map over and over for 10 hours or so, even if it is different characters.

Final indie replay before DS2 is Stray. So that’s 3 plats. So to recap as it’s gonna be a long time till my next plat.

I'm done!!! I'm done!!! I'm done!!!

As of 152 in games hours and total play hours of 214; I have plated what is my most exhausting game yet. I'm going to be bold - I think the most exhausting plat this entire thread. 3 playthroughs just to be at a point where defeating the games superboss was a "possibility" and that fucker was still brutal. Have you guys ever played a game for so long that you think you hear the game in another room even though its not even on? That's where I got with this game but I loved every bit of it. Has become my favorite SaGa game so far.

I'm taking a break from gaming for about 2 weeks. When I come back, my next handful of games will take no more than one playthrough to plat and no more than 50 hours.

EDIT: Will update by the end of today.

Congrats or should I say well done.

And yep. There's a few games I got so into I spent 300 hours plus. MGSV was a 500 hours and close enough for Diablo 4 and I was dreaming as if I was in that world, hearing the sound effects constantly, the music running through my mind constantly and seeing analogies to the game in everything but those were paced well over the course of a few months. The worst was FF14 which I hit a 7 month addiction and took all my free time and much of many long nights, I was practically hallucinating cause of that game, it really fucked with my head I was so tuned into it. I would not recommend it. 😐 Worse than any drug I may or may not have ever taken. Horrible experience to be addicted to that trash fire.

UPDATED!

My next game is going to be Final Fantasy XII Remastered. 1 playthrough and no more than 80 hours, Will be starting it next Wednesday.

Dragon Age Veilguard completed.

Took about 55 hours. Not bad. There are a few missable trophies, but I think only 1 is truly missable (navigating a specific conversation with a specific NPC and getting the correct results). Outside of that, the rest can be done just from playing and trying to complete all missions etc etc.

Had a good time. I think it's an enjoyable experience, but your mileage will vary depending on the type of RPGs you enjoy.

Currently playing Sonic Colours Ultimate.
