Different scope.

All Naughty Dog does these days is make interactive movies disguised as games.

I would like to see Firaxis get Alpha Centauri back again.

The fact that one of the best PC games of all time has never had a look in, is depressing.

Now that Embracer owns 3D Realms/Slipgate Ironworks I'd want another Duke Nukem game from either one. This time with a good team and budget. Without Randy Pitchford poking his nose into the damn thing and doing nothing with the franchise.

Although this is a silly statement, I'll take you to task on it. How are their games interactive movies and other games that play very much like theirs not?

Because they focus on graphics and cutscenes over gameplay. Really, other games that play that way have the same problems.

Not really. They focus on all of it. They excel at graphics and cinematics, but that doesn't make their games interactive movies. That is a specific genre (ex. Her Story, Late Shift) and Naughty Dog's games play nothing like them.

They almost don't have QTEs anymore as well. Nor they have chose your story trype of game.
