I would say there is no good reason to going for the pentile since it is mostly recognized as inferior in quality since PSVR2 from all we know doesn`t have an issue with battery life and is something that will be on a very big screen impression.

And also because psvr1 was already rgb i believe

Tobii is in negotiation to be the eye tracking technology provider for the Sony PlayStation VR2

Some are speculating that this in for patent infringement purposes and that the PSVR2 ask already has. Sony solution, but will be updated for Tobii's when finalised.

I am still waiting for a few more details before allowing myself to get hyped but at least it looks decent.

Edit: I'm not really liking that it's not completely wireless but hopefully it won't be as big of a wiry mess as the original PSVR.
