Well this is unfortunate. First HTC becomes irrelevant and now LG's cell phone division folds up shop. I just got my LG phone last year and its been excellent.

Got mine 3 days ago, I paid a product that was discontinuing in few months , I'm lucky. IDK? if What other phone to get by July? What are you getting?

I don't switch phoned very often anymore. I keep my phone until I have a reason to upgrade. I got this LG V60 so I could take advantage of 5G.

Around the Network

It was bound to happen. While LG was competitive at one point, I haven't found a reason to not go Samsung instead.

Samsung typically gives you the best hardware that Android has to offer in several aspects while giving you the longest software updates on Android. (3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates). On top of that, you have Samsung's marketing prowess and interesting innovations like the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Fold. The main complaints I see is that people don't like their interface which can be fixed to an extent with Nova Launcher.

So when a phone manufacturer like LG charges similar prices but doesn't have a number of features or has inferior features, it's hard to buy them. Too bad cause I was a bit interested in the Wing.

i feel like the wing was a last ditch effort to save the cellphone division.

at any rate it sucks for me in korea since our only real options for android phones over here is samsung or LG, since taxes make non korean phones expensive.

now samsung has effectivly 0 competition over here....
