Forums - Sports Discussion - The NFL Thread 2020: Tampa Bay Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV

Awesome. Great work rol. I'll read up on the rules later.

Can I suggest something weird? Can I create my own personal NFL power rankings that can make my choices for me? Hear me out. This is only if I don't get a chance to list my choice for those early week games -like I did so many times last year.

Let's say this is my list
32 - CLE
31 - WAS
...
...
2 -BAL
1- KC

And I forget/ don't get a chance to vote for a Thursday night game between Baltimore and Washington. You can just give my vote to Baltimore. Is that doable? Or is it too much work? The last thing I wanna do annoy the person running this.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Let's do this! I was active in the 2019 thread, but I didn't make any bets or predictions. So, this will be my first go at it.

Any bonus points for correctly predicting game scratches due to the 'rona?

I will think about it, but I feel the quality of the games will be down this season due to various reasons related to Corona. Still got 3 weeks!

Imagine the Super Bowl without the crowd.

Half the crowd are just rich pricks who are there to be seen rather than to enjoy the game, and about a tenth leave early in the second half to beat the traffic. Honestly, I'm more curious to test out how real "home-field advantage" really is, especially for places like Seattle and Kansas City. The Chargers might actually do better at home, though.
