Never thought it would be Sony that would go first in terms of console price/release date.

We don`t really know if that info will be shared on this event, myself I doubt it unless they are pretty confident MS have 0 chance of undercutting them or even if undercutting their price is so good that it doesn`t matter.

Aside from 3rd parties, you are pretty much expected to upgrade and not look back. Can’t exactly knock it when it has been tradition for several gens though.

I just want a price and the ability to pre order please...

What are you talking about? PS1, PS2 and PS3 had games launched for them after the successor had been released.

Not quite.

No, it won't receive huge titles like PS5 will, but why would it?

Also, changed thread title since we have no confirmation.

Well, I guess it is a bit of a sudden transition then. If we knew of any other GOW2 or GT6 situations guess we would know by now.

Yeah, I knew GoT was the last big one but i assumed that, that implied their were smaller titles coming, maybe a few second party and cross gen releases on that side of things. Ah, doesn't matter, I'm in on ps5 in the first 5 months once I get my door widened to get in in the house.
