I wish you were wrong, but with 25m+ switch selled in japan and only 3m ps5 in comparison + Seeing the -1 now make me think you are right.

Just going by COMG! preorders you'd have to say that yes Pikmin 4 has a chance. But looking at the actual numbers for the previous entries...

FFXV sold 717k week 1 (On a PS4 installbase of 3.8m)
Pikmin 3 Deluxe sold 171k week 1

Of course you'd expect Pikmin 4 to do much better than a remaster but I just can't see FFXVI retail sales being less than half of FFXV. They will certainly be lower, probably by quite a bit. But I can't see a scenario where it sells less than 400k and I can't see Pikmin 4 selling more than 400k, so my vote goes to FFXVI winning that battle regardless of what COMG! is showing right now.

Maybe the deluxe is just gonna appear like it did near the last week for RE4 remake with a "boom". Ill try to stay positive for the franchise, but it doesnt look very bright.
