Looks like FF16 will continue the trend of FF declining in popularity in Japan. This game obviously is relying on the West.

Though I would be interested to see a comparison with ff15 and maybe 13 as well

FF13 > 1.5M first week Japan (I dont have the exact number)

FF15 > 690,471 first week Japan (Overall, one of the best selling globally : 10m, only 7,6 and 14 selled more)

FF7R > 702,853 first week Japan

I dont know how much FF16 is gonna sell first week in japan but not even close of ff15.

So, Resident Evil 2 sold 252,848 in its first week and Resident Evil 3 sold 189,490. What is the the magic number we are looking at for RE4? I'm thinking it can do above 200k (PS4 + PS5).

i think zelda's gonna be last switch games doing these numbers if im not mistaken... end of an era
