Is Relic handing the reigns of AoE IV to Forgotten Empires? Because I still don't have my Age of Mythology Definitive Edition god damn it!

I feel like Microsoft should go and just buy FE and place them under World's Edge as their own internal studio for AoE at this point.

Gotcha! I wonder if they could be working on potential DLC? FE has gotten really good at that with the other Definitive Editions. Well, minus the first AoE DE lol. That game hasn't received any love.

Damn, that sucks. At least they've still been able to partner with them on the franchise.

Probably assisting Relic on the DLC, I think FE will do an Age of Mythology remaster eventually, I guess they'll try to get Relic to do an Age of Mythology 2 but maybe not, I wonder if it would be better to keep Age of Empires with Relic and give FE Age of Mythology instead of Relic, after AoM remaster, FE will run out of RTS to remaster for Microsoft, AoM is less risky to screw up than AoE too, I'd say give them a chance.

I wonder what the long term availability of Relic will be though. They're putting out Company of Heroes 3 in 3 months, and Relic is notorious for putting out a crap ton of DLC for that franchise, on top of still having the license to make Warhammer 40k RTS games. So I wonder if Sega will eventually think their studio is being stretched a bit too thin.

Oxide has put up pre-alpha in-game screenshots of Ara History Untold on their website. Maybe they've been there since the game was announced and I just never noticed lol. Definitely looks very Civilization like. I can't wait to get so advanced to where I demand a rival civ to give me their city for free, and when they get pissed, I just nuke them to high holy hell

I didn't like how cartoony and simplified the layout was for Civilization 6, but they definitely got the nuclear explosions on point! Ara is looking much more realistic and grander in scale, so if Oxide is also able to make a nuke going off as satisfying as this, if not even MORE insane, I'll be a happy conqueror!!!

@Ryuu96 so it looks like the Forge open beta may very well coincide with the launch of season 3. Which honestly, not only does it give Forge some extra time to bake for a couple more months, but that could be a huge marketing push for season 3.
