I still think going for 120fps is a complete waste of time on console we spent most of this gen dipping below 30 and most people still can't even tell the difference between 30 and 60fps and there is very few games that really take advantage of 120fps such as twitch reaction shooters and other super competitive games.

I mean options are good though any AAA game would have to cut back to 1080p and remove the majority of the visual effects to hit 120fps so I'm not expecting it to see to much support.

I have to say I really disagree with this take.  I'm in the process of writing on fps before next-gen systems for here too.  I think anyone can intuit the differences between 30 & 60 fps quite easily when they sit down to play.  I don't think we've reached the upper threshold on noticeable framerate difference yet.

There are some videos of people on Youtube who don't even play much at all and even these people say 60fps feels much better than 30fps (without knowing which is the 60fps version). And PC gamers who play regularly have no problem to recognize the 120fps advantage in multiplayer games.

Fps is way more important for some stuff as graphics are even if it's the jump from 60 to 120fps and the much worse graphics you get.

And when I look at what people play all the time (many players "waste" most hours in competitive stuff) then I think there are a lot of people who would love to get that option on console.

Too bad the TVs aren't where PC monitors are if it comes to this.

I voted for Fable, I’m not the biggest Fable fan but

- playground games

- Full reboot

Looking forward to see if they keep keep their prestige and all the new features and additions.

I’m excited for any future Fallouts, Avowed, and Starfield

Why does Ryuu likes to slag Wasteland IP when talking talking about similar IPs from MS? This dude likes Viva Piñata ffs. 😏
A Wasteland as a 3rd Person RPG/Shooter a la Mass Effect would turn heads. Brian has a lot of ideas and I’m pretty sure this project is his baby and been wanting to realize it since he started making games again with InXile.

Kind of contradicts the Fallout hints that Obsidian has been giving recently though. The only team at Obsidian that could develop the next Fallout would be the Outer Worlds team, Avowed team is still deep in development, it won't release until late 2021 or 2022.

I look for Obsidian to put Outer Worlds 2 on hold until after the next Fallout personally. I think they'll still make it, but I think they'll develop Fallout first. It makes too much sense financially, Fallout sells like 5x more copies than Outer Worlds has sold so far.

What if they make it so Outer Worlds and Fallout are in the same universe? In OW they said they lost all contact with earth. What if they reason for that is a nuclear fallout.

Rename the series to Fallout: The Outer Worlds and turn it into a spin off.

Seeing how well the Series X handles X1 games and even enhances them has sapped so much motivation of mine to actually get on with it and play much of late. I remember this happening right at the end of last generation too.

Anyone else?

Damn, that could work.

I'll happily take another Outer Worlds over Fallout.

Interesting poll.

Started Fallout 4 in my quest to beat games I quit early on. Happened a few days before MS bought Bethesda. And I really enjoyed it overall, will post my thoughts soon to follow.

Went with Fable just because of PG. Really hoping Starfield is actually next year and Jeff is wrong.

Voted Starfeild. Love me some scifi.
