So maybe Fallout 76 isn't leaving game pass anytime soon. Good news, I'm having a good time with it. Needs more expansions though.

I'm suppose to be working right now, but this news has been really distracting.

Same, plus that Bethesda thread is providing some grade A entertainment too.

Jez is saying Stanfield, TES 6 and Fallout 5 will be console exclusive.

It really has been. It's been entertaining watching the melt down.

Would be huge if true, but I still don't see Bethesda making their big games, such as TES, Fallout and Doom console exclusives. It just doesn't really make much sense in economical point of view. I think, MS will lose way more by not putting them on PS then they would gain from such move.

Yes. It is very amusing watching all the same people who are always running around saying MS has no games, go full 180 and start praying and begging that they can continue to have future MS games on their system....while also still maintaining that MS has no games.

All heavy Bethesda hitters should be exclusive for at least a year.

Doom really isn't thaaat big. They could easily afford to miss out on ~2m PS5 sales. Many PS owners have either an Xbox console or PC as a backup (and vice versa) so those could easily play the game on another platform. A few will be "forced" to buy a Series S|X so in the end they're only going to miss out on a few 100k sales which is easily set off by new Xbox owners and/or Game Pass subscribers.

Top tier exclusives is what makes Sony and Nintendo so successful. No idea how this wouldn't make sense from an economical point of view. Especially because all these games are huge PC games as well. Games from the Elder Scrolls series or Fallout will be profitable on PC alone if they are good.

MS needs some more big AAA exclusives and these games could draw many people to Xbox consoles and even Gamepass would profit from not releasing these games on PS or at least only later.

Sony pays money to get some huge games away from Xbox but for MS it wouldn't even make sense to release games from own studios only on Xbox and PC... MS could be the company selling 100m consoles if they would offer stuff like that only on Xbox.  It would completely change the mind of tens of millions of gamers and what they think about Xbox and their games.
