Campaign in July and multiplayer in August at the lockhart reveal. Makes sense to me.

Problem with that is it would mean we won’t see the beta until August. Many of us were hoping for a “Later today” beta drop for Infinite on the July show.

Here’s hoping the August show is early August, 1st week preferably.

You know that won't happen. Not unless Sony comes out August 1st and reveals the PS5 price. MS gonna push that August "Xboxing" thing as far back as they can, waiting to see if Sony blinks.

I think I may be more hyped for Halo Infinite than Cyberpunk 2077 now tbh. I had Cyberpunk 2077 above any and everything for the longest.

Don't get me wrong, still very excited for the game but I'm gonna have to give the edge to Halo Infinite from now on.

@your comment before. You have a PC though

I feel like I'm the only one not that hyped for Cyberpunk. Gameplay looked pretty meh to me. I'd play it if it was on gamepass day one though

Pfff, my PC can't play Halo Infinite at 4k 60+fps though (unless I upgrade my GPU to the coming 3000 series Nvidia cards). No comment on your Cyberpunk statement.

Brian Fargo is the best, Lol.

Also Xbox literally changing Microsoft as a whole and how they operate, damn, what a turnaround, Xbox being the one to influence Microsoft.

No signal at all that they should be slowing down on acquisitions from Satya, Jeez, so the only reason they've slowed down is entirely their own decision.

Dat warchest there waiting for them.

More than Xbox, Mojang...

It truly can't be understated the amount of great influence that has come from these guys. I am starting to think they might actually help MS devices division in the long term.

We need dem barnyard bois to reveal the MP 😅

someone on Era mentioned it and a whole bunch of emotions came flooding back.

Someone embed that for me (I’m on mobile)

Even in 2020 that video is bizarre

Welp, if it's Sony then that's even more fuel for MS to go seriously after WB.

Leyou have been acquired - But by who? Likely Sony but we'll find out soon.

Still think that this would be such a weird purchase for Sony, If it turns out that they in fact acquired them then it should light a fire under Microsoft's ass to get more aggressive. With Gamepass/Xcloud being the main focus going forward and the CEO opening the WarChest for Xbox there is no reason that they shouldn't have more studios than Sony especially since Matt Booty and Phil Spencer have continuously stated that they want to be the "The Netflix of Games".

Yeah I’m not sensing any real loss tbh, Splash was a pretty good studio though. I feel like if it was indeed Sony, there’s better options out there. Idk that’s just me lol

Well shit, Tencent have entered the acquisition talks, which is apparently related to the trading being halted, should have expected that honestly. If Tencent are serious and want it enough then Sony doesn't really stand a chance, I dislike Tencent though, Idk who I'd rather have Leyou now - At least with Tencent, Splash Damage would remain a close partner to Xbox.

Now I wonder if Sony losing Leyou would encourage them to aim for WB's instead, Leyou was estimated around $1.2bn - WB's is rumoured to be around $2bn in the newest valuation of the acquisition, now that would be something Microsoft shouldn't allow to happen.

Sony Also just spent 250 Million on a minority stake on Epic Games (Tencent owns 40%), There is zero chance that MS would let Sony outbid them for WB because they know the ramifications if Sony were to acquire them.

If Tencent buys Leyou I hope that Certain Affinity buys out their stake and maybe MS can swoop in and grab them, They have history together and would add 2/3 AAA development teams to XGS.
