Yeah, it sucks for sure that they wait until like 15 days before removal to remove games.

As a general rule, the vast majority of gamepass deals are 1 year, only a few have been shorter or longer. So if you look up what month a game was added to Gamepass, you can then expect that the game will be removed on the same month a year later.

FF13 was added September 2021 which means you should have until September 2022 to beat it. FF15 was already removed from gamepass, it was the first FF they added to Gamepass so it's 1 year deal ended before FF7, FF8, FF9, or FF12, which have all been removed now. FF10 will be gone in May, while FF13-2 will be gone in December. 

Obsidian on Fallout makes sense. Bethesda now has 3 IP's to manage and unless they change the way they currently develop games, where the main BGS studio in Maryland must be the lead studio on every main game in all 3 series, they likely won't be able to release Fallout 5 until 2029-2030 (after Starfield in 2022 and Elder Scrolls 6 in 2025 or 2026). I think Bethesda knows that the fans don't want the wait between Fallout 4 and the next singleplayer Fallout game to be 14-15 years. That leaves Bethesda with 2 options for getting a new singleplayer AAA Fallout game out sooner:

1. Bethesda Maryland stops being the lead dev on every main series game in all 3 IP's, instead choosing to pass Fallout over to BGS Austin and Starfield over to BGS Montreal after Starfield 1, while BGS Maryland stays in charge of their OG IP, Elder Scrolls, and BGS Dallas assists the other 3 studios as needed.

2. Stick with their current way of developing games where BGS Maryland must be the lead studio on every main series game, and instead gets Obsidian to make a new AAA singleplayer Fallout game to act as a stopgap between Fallout 4 and Fallout 5. Obsidian's largest team will release Avowed in 2023 and should immediately be able to move on to Fallout after that, assuming 4 years of development, they can get a Fallout New Vegas 2 (though I'm sure it will be set in another city rather than a direct sequel, I think Obsidian said in the past they want to do New New Orleans next) out in 2027, 2-3 years before Bethesda themselves can release Fallout 5.

Well, I'm certainly highly interested in Elden Ring thanks to its high reviews. The only Souls-like game I've beaten is Demon's Souls Remake and I quite enjoyed that game. I'll probably pick up Elden Ring before too long.
