Cyberpunk 2077’s next gen patch seems to be launching tomorrow

Can't wait to see the digital foundry tests. Hopefully they have done a great job improving the graphics and optimizing the framerate over the last 14 months since the game released. There is supposed to be a large patch for all platforms released alongside the next-gen update I heard, the largest patch since launch, so hopefully the game will be in a much better state overall.

As optimistic as I am for this update and having the game finally be in a good position on all platforms, unfortunately I can never trust CD Projekt after this. Took over a year to get this game fixed when they had become THE developer where when they put out a game, it was practically guaranteed it was going to be a masterpiece. How that glory got to their heads quick.

Senior Game Designer and Staff Game Designer at Bungie, Michael Ryan joins the huge Zenimax Online team, at their NEW HQ in Seattle Washington, as Lead Level Designer for the development of their ambitious new video game.

It would be funny if ZOS Seattle continue to take more Bungie staff considering Sony are going to great lengths to try to keep people from potentially jumping ship.

I know this move doesn’t mean much since devs leave all the time and some are just looking for better opportunities and to try to move up in position.

Platinum Games is open for acquisition talks if their independence is guaranteed News | ResetEra

Reads to me like he's hinting that they're actively looking for acquisition offers and/or negotiating right now.

Thanks tit.

Heard a rumor that Phil was in Japan... should be interesting nonetheless.

He's not, Japan is closed.

But not like he needs to be in Japan, I wonder if someone has made an offer to Platinum so they're making these comments to try to get better offers.

Oh ok, more fake shit on tweeter.

Maybe someone has, probably not MS then. RIP.

Cyberpunk is $21 on Amazon now. Glad I picked that up when I did for $10 even if gets a game pass drop. Going to wait until digital foundry puts up their analysis.

Probably Tencent.

I can see that. Which would be something Platinum most likely doesn't want, thus causing these comments.

I actually think different.  A lot of times it takes some bad decisions to enact real change and processes within a company.  Instead of this distrust, I am actually looking forward to their next effort to see how they gain back trust in the community.  Any company can make mistakes and bit off more than they are capable of.  Its how they adjust to those efforts could make them much stronger.

Even though the game had bugs, the bigger problem was trying to put that game out on consoles that were not really designed to handle their engine very well.

Not to mention that these people who left are not the ones in charge of creating the technology that Sony purchase Bungie for.

I can finally play my copy I've had since launch, Nice. I'll probably wait a few more days to make sure the patch doesn't cause any issues.
