I thought about jumping in too but rather tired of the ubisoft open world formula at this point.

The Far Cry games are open world?

Well I was thinking of going from the first one - heard it was a bit challenging/unforgiving lol.

I just rebought Far Cry 1 in the Epic Games Store a few days ago... was too lazy to get my retail version from the other room.

Looks still very nice for an 18 year old game:

Losing Hello Neighbour 2 - I would consider that a good thing.

Yeah the game only had 30 million players, is a huge streamer hit, has a majority of positive reviews on steam and its books only sold a few million copies no one cares about the game and when the beta launches on PS no one will talk about it or stream it.

It sucks we have to wait like half a year to get any Xbox news when it comes to their games and stuff in development. Maybe also include TGAs (never watching that shit again). With the amount of content they have, I'm hoping in 2023 they do more than 2 shows a year, one of which isn't really xbox centric.

The game has 6500 reviews on Steam which is pretty "low". Steamspy has it at 200-500k owners.  I guess the game was mainly a real hit on Smartphones and not on PC or consoles. Doesn't change that it was a hit but a game only Smartphone users really cared about doesn't scream "throw money on me Xbox, this is what your users want"

It even was a timed exclusive for Xbox and how many cared? Yes, nobody

Has anyone here played the Just Cause games? I've always wanted to get into them, but never did. I might like it if it's like Saints Row and Far Cry though.

I am sorry but the game was already popular before it even had a smart phone release, it literally belongs to the group of games like PUBG/FNAN etc who were so popular that they also released a smart phone version.  It is clear it has a huge fandom with a ton of merchandise it is not because people in this thread don't care that their isn't a group that does.

Edit: It seems the beta is still available for each version?

is that the game with the old guy chasing kids?

I did, one of the biggest hidden surprises of the 360 gen.

JC1  => Skip it, way to outdated.

JC2=> My favourite, it is light on story but that's also why I like it, after the opening mission you are free to go and destroy the dictators land, it is fun to destroy stuff and you get rewarded with XP that basically let you buy new stuff to destroy the world with.  Just watch a trailer,  the first I saw the trailer I went out and bough the game.    Trailer =>  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbhPGQkAS4k

JC3 =>  It is basically like JC2, it fixed some stuff but is more story oriented and while before you could unlock stuff with just destorying stuff you have to go trough some story missions to unlock it (like fast travel).

JC4 =>  Rushed and boring.....  I hated that game.

Can't really compare it with FC or saints row,  in fact you can compare it more with Halo infinite open world, the grappling hook has more uses in JC and is more fun and their are like a 100 places to conquer.

I'm not the biggest CoD fan out there, but I thought MW2019 looked fantastic graphically! I wonder what kind of improvements a new engine will bring. But please please please Infinity Ward, don't require Warzone to be installed if I just want to play MW2.
