Reggie Fils-Aimé is most likely talking about the original Halo - 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved - as he was hired by Nintendo as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing in December 2003 and Halo 2 launched in November 2004.

How sad. So many vastly superiors franchises out there. With this and his block chain comments, Reggie lost his way.

No, no, and I think it has been dead for years. I remember Joe in the comments literally explaining what the game was to people. Not the best sign. 

Plus... I know game pass gets some terrible fodder, but i don't think it's that bad to get that

Thank you so much everybody! It’s amazing and great just to see so many of you all on here still. I love it and thank you all for continuing to support me even after all these years.  You all really are awesome! This was always a community that I genuinely cared about.  Probably too much back then haha But it's great to see you all on here again. I really do mean that.  

Things have changed a lot since then too.  This being Xbox Empire, I know just how rough last generation was to discuss anything Xbox-related, and now look where they are. Xbox Game Pass is killing it, they’ve acquired studio after studio, and the Xbox Series is proving to be a real competitor.  The future has never been brighter for the Xbox community, and I think over the next two to three years it will be the best in Xbox history.


Now with that said, it’s never just about Xbox. What is so thrilling is that the game industry as a whole is in a great spot; I mean outside of the semiconductor issues of course. But the PS5 is doing great and continues to make great first-party content. Then you have the Switch which as we all know, is an absolute monster. And then like I said before, you have the Xbox Series which I believe will go down as the best Xbox console(s) to date.

So yeah, let's have fun everybody!

Outside of YouTube;  I've moved to a different state, I'm married now, I almost died in china at one point (exaggerating a little bit lol), and we have a little dog and a kid. So all of that and games of course keep me pretty busy. 

More recently I've been focusing a lot of my time on the NBA Playoffs.

How about you all.  I would love to hear what you all have been up to, and if this is all too off-topic.  You can always hit me up in DM's.

The 2 new maps are great. I'm not going to make the same mistake I did with season 1 and rush to complete season 2. There is no reason to use 2XP. Somehow they managed to make challenge/progression system worse lol. I had 4 FFA/LSS challenges at the same time and I really dislike those modes. And if you want LSS challenges such as 'play 6 matches' to count you have to sit through the whole thing ugh.. and personally I think it's an awful, awful mode.

The good thing is there's no need to rush with battle pass so I'll just ignore this event. Battle pass content is good and it's more fun to play again when making progress. Ranked King of the Hill is excellent and new maps are cool. I'm not a fan of Mangler nerf.

Overall I'm happy with what we got but they need to do more of course.
