With Jay back I need to step up my posting, less shitposting and more serious discussions like back in the day. Jay and Empire were the reasons I stayed big on VGC and Empire. I even remember the day he was banned still, crazy how long ago that was.

Don't need to get into why he was banned here but all sides share some blame there and we can just move on, it's water under the bridge between the Staff and Jaywood. Now he is back and just in time for the Xbox Showcase and I think this will be a nice thing for both Jaywood and all of us here! First real Xbox Empire. He was the OP. Fostered great discussions here and on the site as well. Ended up being one of the most commented threads. Some of the best users came to this site back in 2013 
His thread was kind of like it's own little brand within VGC. We had issues with the mods with spam posts. Funny now that I think of that and how silly the rule was. Ryuu the other day posted 10 times in a row. Would have been a ban back then.
Lot of the reason people why people are here in Empire is because of that thread. Back then Xbox was roasted all over the internet (2013). So finding a refugee camp where we could talk without an obsessive amount of negativity was a relief. Didn't always agree on things, which is good too. Overall, served as a great thread that brought in a lot of people.

Oh I don't think they are bad, but what they offered in Oblivion was so good that I think it led a lot of people to chose them and plenty picked them in Skyrim cause they were used to it :)
Had a lot of catching up on but it sounds like Xbox Empire will get more much lively even during slow news times :D

Agreed. Too much of "our time" has been just being secluded in this thread due to the flame war waiting outside.
There was a digital foundry video every day, I swear...
Our camp is much more polite having lived through being on the bad side I think.
The site in general is much better than it was 2013-2017. Less people to be fair but the discussions are considerably more respectful.
