xCloud servers are all Xbone S consoles IIRC. Biggest difference going from Series X to xCloud are the load times. SSD's are the real next gen game changer.

SCALEBOUND HYPE, no but seriously would be cool to see MS make use of the IP, Dragons you say? Spicy

MS might honestly has too many RPGs in development lol

jesus why is Microsoft the leakiest out of the big three lmao, with Nintendo and Sony you get the occasional leak but for the most part their air tight but with Microsoft it feels like for the longest time we're aware of so many of their projects before they've announced them, just from the past month now we have:

- potential Kojima project
- IO Interactive dragon game
- the typhoon XGP multiplayer game

fable and perfect dark were also leaked/rumored years before their announcement too. makes me wonder how the series x reveal at the game awards was somehow the one that never slipped.

we're also in that time period where we're only 6-7 weeks away from E3 so I absolutely expect some more of their big projects to be leaked before that as well since it happens essentially every year lol. it's hype to talk about but damn I want some surprises too!

Current List of RPGs.

  • 2021 - Starfield
  • 2022 - Avowed
  • 2023 - Fable
  • 2024 - The Outer Worlds 2
  • 2025 - The Elder Scrolls VI
  • 2026 - InXile's AAA RPG
  • 2027 - IO Interactive's Dragon RPG.

Those are just a rough guess of the dates, Covid could screw with literally every single one of them cause of delays in all parts of production, but Microsoft has a decent chance of releasing an RPG every year for the next 7 years.

This is amazing, Xbox is trying hard to get that WRPG crown back again and I love it, really making up for that Xbox One gen.

It’s beautiful.

But man is TESVI really four years off? I know you said it’s guessing but is it estimated to be that far away? I was assuming it was far into development.

Maybe Ryan was on to something when he said "Kill grounded."

The rumour of io making an exclusive is interesting because that was a big studio that had acquisition rumours for quite some time which makes me wonder over the past few years if all these rumours about acquisitions were actually Xbox setting up exclusive deals instead and "insiders" just presumed acquisitions because of the spree MS had in 2018.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

If I had to guess, I'd say that MS is just fine with these leaks. It keeps them in the news during this period where their studios aren't actually putting out anything, and at the end of the day, only the fans who scour the internet for news 24/7 are really gonna know anyway. Hell, even for the people who do know that some project is in development, it's like...ok...cool I guess...but the real excitement comes from actually seeing a new game in action, not some vague description of "these guys are making a fantasy game with dragons."

Yeah these are probably controlled leaks. But the thing is they won’t need these leaks if they decided to just do more show lol.

It's not about deciding to show more, it's about being able to show more. MS will get to a point soon enough where they'll be able to just consistently show new footage from games they got in development, but they're just not there yet. So you get leaks instead.
