Yeah we'll get the typical multiplatforms, I'm just finding it harder to predict exclusives this time, as it's already confirmed they'll be no exclusives to Scarlet, will they try to push Scarlet sales as much with a huge lineup or are they more focused on Gamepass and thus spread them out? Either way, Halo Infinite alone is a far bigger title than all of those.

Kinda wish Microsoft would play on nostalgia for Scarlet, Halo Infinite is very much trying to play on Halo CE's themes from the sounds of it, there's the rumoured Perfect Dark in development, they would be stupid to not do another Killer Instinct, and even though I don't care about the IP, a Banjo remake wouldn't hurt.

I'm guessing they don't want a drought of games. I remember the Xbox 360 had ES4: Oblivion in March/April after it launched then there was nothing until the holidays. It was similar with the Xbox One with Titanfall released in the spring after launch. With Scarlett I am expecting 3 or 4 Microsoft games from January to summer 2021. Not all AAA games, but a variety of 1 or 2 AAA games, 1 AA game and 1 or more indie games.

What we need for Scarlet launch to make it fly off the shelves...

You know it makes sense @Ninja Theory.

Kung Fu...Ninjas...Ninja Theory. Brilliant idea.

What about this game?! It was Microsoft's answer to Mario Party and it was...not that great.

"To this day, if we could work on a [Kung Fu Chaos] sequel, we would." - Ninja Theory.

It's only a matter of time!

I've never played Fuzion Frenzy but I do see people requesting it come back, that'd actually be a great launch title, a smaller party style title to sit alongside a huge game like Halo Infinite, they shouldn't clash at all.

1 vs. 100 should come back too, that'd be perfect for Gamepass.

I had no idea Ninja Theory had any desire to make a new Kung Fu Chaos. Not that I played the original.

I remember playing 1 vs. 100. It was a lot of fun. It was a shame it didn't last very long.

My predictions for Scarlett launch:

Name: Xbox Next
Date: November 17, 2020
Price: $500

Specs:

  • 10 tflop AMD Navi GPU
  • 3.2ghz 8 core AMD Ryzen 2 CPU
  • 20 GB of GDDR6 at speeds over 500 GB/s
  • 1 TB NVMe SSD capable of read and write speeds over 2000 MB/s
  • Vapor Chamber cooling

Launch window (Launch to December 2020) Line-up (some of these may release on current gen platforms earlier in 2020, with next-gen ports coming during the Holiday season):

GPU will certainly not be Navi based as in what is found on the PC, that GPU is more like a hybrid GCN/RDNA architecture as it still features GCN instructions... Plus Scarlett will be capable of Ray Tracing which Navi cannot do with dedicated hardware.

Microsoft has already confirmed that the CPU will be Ryzen 3rd gen (Zen 2), not the old and outdated Ryzen 2nd gen (Zen+), highly doubt AMD is going to port Zen+ to 7nm anyway, unless you have confused Zen 2 with Ryzen 2?

20GB of GDR6 would necessitate a 320-bit memory bus, Microsoft might not take that approach if it wants a console that will scale downwards in price after a few years.

Yeah, I meant Zen 2 rather than Ryzen 2.

Day: Friday November 20th 2020.
Price: $499 but a $550 or $600 limited edition console too.
1st/2nd Party Lineup: Halo Infinite, Gears Tactics, A Rare IP, NT single player game (Hellblade came out in 2017 so a new game should be ready), AAA xbox published game.
3rd Party Lineup: Sports games, Call of Duty Black Ops 5, Watch Dogs Legio, Rainbow 6 Quarantine, Anthem relaunch, New EA IP, and some THQ Nordic games.
I also expect a lot of upgraade patches for current gen games.
