I think PC is a more direct competitor with the ps4 than the Switch is.

Erm.. how does a PC be a direct competitor to a console?

Might aswell include mobile in that same sentence too while we are at it.

I've considered going PC over ps5.  They are likely to share similar power (depending on GPU) and share multiplatform games.  The type of games on a PC and ps4/ps45 are similar as well.  PC shares more in common than a Switch does.  The Switch is clearly a much different target audience.

Maybe they are talking about their cloud platform on Azure.

PC is a different audience however once you invest into a PC, consoles aren't really a necessary anymore. Especially with PSNow and Xbox Live on PC. Only thing PC gamers wont get are the Nintendo titles which is expected since Nintendo from day have always operated that way and will never change.

Exactly my point.  Owning both a PC and ps4 is rather redundant, given how much they share in common.  e.g. they are in competition with each other.  The same isn't true with a Switch and ps4.  Owning a Switch doesn't diminish what the ps4 brings to the table, the opposite is true.

I see your point, however PC gamers and console gamers don't normally collide with each other. Both audiences tend to stay with there direct choices. For example a Console only gamer wont suddenly change to PC for many reasons aside from the games, and that could be the console lifestyle and simplicity where as PCs are more complicated and require Mouse and Keyboard and set-ups etc. Same can be said for a PC gamer crossing over to a Console, knowing PCs are capable of a lot more once the effort is put into them etc. The Switch is more a portable device which can also collide with both PS4 and XB1 as its priced in a similar bracket to them. So a new gamer wanting a console will have to choose between all 3 which are priced closely together. PC's don't normally fall under that price bracket to compete with since they are of base more expensive which leads into a different market of buyers.

god of war trilogy re-released multiplatforms? The Switch can handle the first three, right?

The only platform I'd ever expect to see a Sony game is PC, and even then, not a series like God of War.
