in my household there is 3 switches, 5 of those joycons have had drift and i have replaced all the sticks with 3rd party replacements. It really annoys me and its has put me off buying a Switch Lite

Why not just clean them with some electronic contact cleaner?

Replacing the ENTIRE analog stick is not necessary, and a huge waste of time and money. It's like replacing the engine to refill the oil tank, or replacing your socks rather than washing them.

Ugh, maybe this the proper thread to say it, but I'm dissapointed with my pro controller. The right stick is the one that have the drift problem.
It made a nightmare to play Witcher 3 on Switch with the constant camera movement.

Had that problem with my new ps4 controller i just got to play Sekiro with so that drifting was really hell trying to beat bosses and moving in wrong directions.

Try to find something you can fit in the holder for the problematic stick, and with some luck you can move the dust/piece of small plastic out of the way that might be causing the drift.
