They put hispanics in the article name to make him look bad. He is really just getting rid of it for lazy people unwilling to work, and illegal immigrants. Cuz they didn't doing anything to earn free stuff.

You do realize you just lumped hispanics together with lazy people, right?

You do realize you just made that up, right?

Seriously, what causes the mental disconnect that allows people to completely misconstrue simple sentences?  And, how is it so widespread?

Don't really see the problem with this, kinda rude for someone to go somewhere and expect to get things for free

Are you saying you need more reason to believe it's bad than just "it was Trump's idea"? Preposterous!

Actually that's not what is happening.  The policy states if someone has ever use government assistance even if they are a legal immigrant, they cannot become a citizen.  It has nothing to do with getting something for free since it target legal immigrants who probably have jobs and pay taxes just like any American.

From this article it appears it doesn't target people who use Obamacare/ACA or the children healthcare program.  If this is the case then I will take back what I stated concerning my view on the Trump administration.  Even if they did thought to put those into this policy, at least someone with some brains made them reconsider.

No country should be importing people that require public assistance in the first place. It's nonsensical. If they're a citizen thats different or if theyre long time immigrants (usually by now citizens) and get down on their luck thats also different. Recent immigrants and candidates for residency should not be using programs or at risk of using them.

You expect the USA to be a charity and let everyone in and give them paychecks while they are at it?
Green Card should hold value and be hard to get, else being a born American means nothing and is complete unjust to the immigrants that add value to the country and made what America is today.
I am a Brazilian and would love to live in America. If you guys are handing free green cards (even if I don't think I deserve yet), save one for me. At least I am Engineer of one of the hardest school where I live and try my hard to give value to society, and not take it only.
