Looking forward but with GoWR I won't have time for a few more days

Nice. Enjoy.. Ragnarok is beast of game. With that and a few other decent releases, this is good time for games this Holiday for sure.

Read some thoughts and opinions on CP on other forums.. since there aren't any reviews yet (think the embargo is tommorrow as well). And from the little I can gather, the game is definately a survival horror, through and through. Difficulty included. One says even more than Dead Space, which has me darn excited to play.

Talked to soon, finished yesterday with about 81h.

Now 74h, last chapter and killed 11 of the 12 Berserkers, also killed the guardians of raven. Also cleared the tear of realms, so I want to see what else I'll still have to go over.

Oh boy, one of the Berserker fights in Alfheim is absolutely pissing me off lol.

I don't remember who was in each location, but the only zerkers besides the king that were problematic was the duo and the trio. Have you maximized your equip? It do make things a lot more doable.

Everyone enjoying GoW while I've just started Sackboy's Adventure!

It is a very enjoyable game, but the platinum is quite challenging.

For those playing Ragnarok, don't skip out on the side content.

Some of it legitimately might be better than the main game.

All I can say is wowzas.

And I'll say that the ending left opening for a DLC =p

Callisto Protocol is definitely making the news rounds today. Looks like it needed a little more time in the oven but still the animations and visuals are getting a lot of praise. It reviewed best on PS5 and after watching the DF video I can understand why. Maybe the devs reached out to Sony to explain they needed some help finishing the game? Since they have the marketing rights maybe that's why they sent the additional 150 devs to help out.

Looking at the final product overview, DF states PS5 is the superior version in all aspects of visuals, ray tracing, performance, (Xbox series X dips to 22fps on quality mode) loading, 3D audio and Haptics. Also the PC version has a lot of stutter and seems to be broken as well. Looks like PS5 is the way to go for this game.

Some people online might call this or other Playstation affiliated games "clunky" but it only shows their bias as they're stuck with inferior versions at launch.

That's who I'm talking about lol!

I haven't maximized everything yet. Initially, I was going through each location and finishing all the side quests/boss fights, then moving on to another, but I'm currently stumped at that fight. Going to leave it as one of the last battles to do, it's for the best lol.

The Callisto Protocol is pretty much unplayable on the PS4. The framerate is really bad and it looks like a PS2 game at times. I cant believe they released it in this state. Was really looking forward to this, but now I probably have to wait until I get a PS5 because Im getting a headache from this shitty version.

Unreal Engine games have been disappointing across the board on PC with those shader compilation stutters. And this isn't the first time developers struggle with implementing RT properly on Xbox (Control, Little Nightmares 2, and Lego Builder's Journey come to mind). May not quite match PS5's version in performance but RT issues/bugs should be ironed out soon.

That's disappointing. We're talking worse than Control?
