I don't think there's any way he knows about an acquisition. Those by their very nature are known only to a select few.

I think at best these 3 items are somehow related to one another. PS+ rebranding, MLB/ Lego SW as day 1 on the new service, PS1/ PS2/ PS3 games are all downloadable.

of course, I'm all for bigger things, and would be 100% behind your 3 items!

Greg Miller is well connected in the industry especially with PlayStation. He might not know specifics, but I do trust he has legitimate sources, and he's not the type of person to post about rumors. For all we know he could've got a vague tease about something big lol.

Honestly I would keep expectations low aside from the Spartacus

Sony hates me. WHy tease me like this.

They know what they're doing.

The rumor is finally not rumor anymore.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

On a french website Jim Ryan explains the new playstation subscription. Almost what was said in the rumors. The biggest suscription, called premium, is 120 euros per year, offering what's in the ps+ and ps now nowadays, adding streaming or downloading of ps1 ps2, psp and ps3 games, and day one games of playstation studios for a limited amount of time to try the games (the game is not added in the way of the gamepass).

So it was just a integration with PS Plus after all with some perks. Quite cool, though nothing too outstanding.

Adds value to people who sub to PS Now and there's no changes to current PS Plus subs which is good. Because that's the one I'm sticking to.

Wasn't aware of the trial on day one for first party games, that isn't on their blog announcement.

Pretty cool that they're enabling downloads on classic games, but I wonder how many of them will be supported and whether the list will be updated with time.

Game Trial feature is interesting, and having Miles Morales included in the Extra tier is surprising considering its continued strong sales. It could be a test to see how it impacts legs.

The list can change every month, but at least from the announcement and PSNow page seems like only current gen and at most PS4 games may leave the catalogue while PS1, 2, 3, PSP will be kept there and perhaps added (this they didn't say).

And well PSVita is missing.

That's the explanation by the french website of this : "Time-limited game trials will also be offered in this tier, so customers can try select games before they buy." According to them, it talks about AAA by Sony, supposely day one.

Seems like a leap from the website. The US and BR blog from Sony just mention that they will have the time trials (not demos as people try to put), and also add titles from their first party catalogue (all almost over 1 year old), no mention of day one trial of 1st party titles (which may very well happen).

So, I finally decided to start playing Horizon Zero Dawn again after having drifted away from it a couple of years back (I have attention span problems and have a hard time committing to long games). This time, I started playing it on the PS5, and the increased resolution and frame rate have definitely helped bring out a lot of detail and make the game play a bit more smoothly. On the negative side, my save file was on the PS4, but instead of figuring out how to transfer my save file (which I imagine is easier than I think), I decided to start from the beginning since I forgot where I was in the story anyway and needed to get back into the groove with its controls and everything. Hopefully I can stick with it this time and actually finish it, because what I did play of it was pretty good despite the overly conventional Ubisoft-style design of its open world elements.

If you were Brazilian you may not even have this problem but a different one =p

The version I bought in midia for Horizon ZD is incompatible with the gifted complete edition, so I couldn't use the save on there. Had to buy the DLC to play it on PS5 improved and use the same save.
