Yeah, what was said is meaningless. One day I may go for my PhD. Never say never.

But I'd love a new UC!!!

At least the second portion show that they want to do it. And as said the ending of UC4 leaves a big opening for them to do a sequel even if I would rather they start some similar genre IP but with different setting and cast, or even go back to a different timeset.

There could be more Uncharted coming our way. Make it happen ND!

GamesRadar asked Lost Legacy creative director Shaun Escayg and game director Kurt Margenau whether Naughty Dog could make a new Uncharted game at some point.

“I think we can say for certain that we can never say never,” said Margenau, who also served as lead cinematic animator on Uncharted 4.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection review

“Yeah. Uncharted is a franchise we love – that the studio loves, I love, and [Uncharted 4 co-lead designer] Kurt loves,” he added. “It’s a world we want to see more of. So I can certainly say that.”

Well. Saying that can never say never doesn`t mean much =p

True. Though coming from two directors it does seem like there is deep interest in ND for the series. Which is promising. And tbf a sequel is kinda inevitable.

All we know is they are working on a new IP,  and from a leak TLOU remake. So maybe we could see a new UC could be after that.

Sure, the other paragraph is much more telling, both have interest and that should be enough for them to pitch the idea. And well, they left a possibility for that on UC4.

Give me Uncharted style gameplay in a Sci-fi shooter on an alien planet please, that's something I'd really like to see lol.

So Savage Starlight - or Star Wars 1313...*tear

Could very well be their new IP, or something along the lines. Like they teased The Last of Us in Uncharted 3 in an Easter egg.

Exactly. I don't mind playing a similar game or even similar story, but milking the same IP restrict stuff to much.

Keep the ideas, what worked good from UC and even TLOU and bring us a new stellar IP.

For me, part of the cool in uncharted was little by little uncovering the past of Drake and he maturing from the orphan that lost all. His daughter though she already born with all needed, and unless they decide to kill the family and friends she wouldn't even have much tragedy, so it would only be exploration or people would complain of they killing Nathan and etc. There is a reason why stories have short epilogues and no lenght sequels when they are done for, after the apex come and the misteries are solved there isn't a good reason to keep going.

Speaking of 1313...

I should say it three times in front of the mirror tonight.

So it would be unspaced?

Sony acquires Bungie for $3.6Bn.

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2022-01-31-sony-buying-bungie-for-usd3-6-billion

Not a fan of big acquisitions like this though I guess they have to work to make a CoD replacement in next two years :P

With the impending loss of COD I wondered if they were going to reboot Killzone or something. The Bungie acquisition may indeed be their answer, though I hope for something other than Destiny out of them.
