Welcome to the
Definitive Edition of Playstation Nation!
Brought to you by Bristow9091, with love and support from Hiku

After multiple previous releases, Playstation Nation is back and (hopefully) better than ever with a whole new revamp. However, this time it's going to be a group project and we'll need all the help we can get from you, the community.

Basically what this means is; instead of just one person curating this thread with Playstation news, announcements and updates, we're encouraging you guys to fill this place with all stuff Playstation, let's call it... a Playstation Aggregate.

Okay, so remember; This thread is here to share and talk about all things Playstation, it is NOT here to be used as a platform to attack users and fans of other consoles. As long as you keep discussions civil and don't cause any trouble, you'll be fine. Will there be times where users disagree with each other and have clashing opinions? Yes, of course there will, although if you can at least respect those opinions and not turn it into a fight club, then it'll be smooth sailing. Oh, and it goes without saying, but the forum rules still apply here too.

At the moment, here’s what you’ll be able to boot up out of the box:

  • The zany platformer Astro’s Playroom will come pre-loaded on every PS5.
  • In other similarly twee platforming news, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, a fully 3D entry in long-running 2.5D LittleBigPlanet series, will be available at launch.
  • Make that two more machines you can play Fortnite on.
  • Destruction All Stars, a game about crashing (vehicles and fists) into each other, will be available at launch.
  • Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, a shiny redux of the action game complete with raytracing, will be available digitally on day one.
  • In a Tweet, Insomniac games confirmed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available alongside the PS5, depending on your region. (It’s also coming to the PlayStation 4.)
  • The Demon’s Souls remake from Bluepoint Studios will be playable at launch.
