I'm guessing Guerrilla's 2nd team will be ready to show their shooter in 2022.

Back in 2018, they hired 2 of the key developers behind RS: Siege.

Interesting. I'd be totally down for a new shooter from Guerilla.

It does seems like they are ramping up productions for this generation. GOW dev time 3 years, Horizon 4. I just want to see what ND cooks up!

We may even receive a shadow drop announcement. Well let's say this second team have been developing the sequel to Killzone even before Horizon 1 started development. Perhaps Killzone could be a launch title (even if launch window) and they will reveal very near launch to give that final hype push (I think it is unlikely, but not impossible).

It'd certainly create a lot of buzz

I'd be down with a modern take on KZ2 or SOCOM. If not that, a new IP is always welcome.

ND is the biggest reason why I buy PS hardware so I'm always stoked to see their projects. Right now, I want Factions 2.0 so bad.

Yeah that would be interesting. Not played a SOCOM game before but this would also be cool and make sense since we've have some rumours popping up about it and someRS Seige guys being hired kinda hints towards that. I would prefer to see a new IP personally, we shall see in 2022-2023.

Same, these guys make pure gold. I just want that Savage Starlight they keep teasing lol. Factions would be crazy fun as well I should imagine.

I would say that Horizon opened GG horizons so much that they passed from being very good with technical aspects and graphical powerhouse to also making very good and compelling setting, story and all. So if they made another Killzone with what they learnt and their new maturity it could be a very good game.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

@hinch - People really ran with that Savage Starlight poster being a tease for a game
It's a new IP and it's sci-fi so naturally I'd be cool with that.

@DonFerrari - Yeah, Guerrilla (and other studios) really stepped up this gen going from mid to top tier developer.

30 free upgrades PS4 to PS5 confirmed... so can we included that to the launch list to bump the count? I say no, I only count new titles.

That Share Factory Studio seems to be a big deal for streamers with those OBS like features.

Yeah, I only really consider new games as well. Also because some of these (e.g. Cyberpunk 2077) will only get a fully featured PS5 version next year. But this is so great to see. Maybe a missed opportunity to not market this ala Smart Delivery?

I think they missed For Honor and Rise 4 but on the other hand Grand Theft Auto V, Little Nightmares 2 and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 are to my knowledge new additions.

Never used Share Factory. I only capture the screen and posted to facebook, now after facebook stopped working never posted a video anymore.

Yes I agree that Sony needed to market more. But again full pre-order sold out makes it needless to hype more right now. Perhaps Sony is saving bullets. And well after so many months of silence finally we are getting daily updates.

1: True. I guess it always comes back to this

2: As for saving bullets, I wonder if we'll see any kind of launch event with the pandemic and all. I always enjoyed those no matter which console manufacturer hosting. People being passionate and hyped about an event only happening once every 7 years.

I guess it's to remove clutter. You still buy PSP and PS3 content?

PS3 and PSP have PS1/PS2 digital games that the PS4 and PS5 don't, sadly.

You fucker. You really like that old shit, huh?

I get it though. So many classics.
