Forums - General Discussion - Should English dictionaries correct the spelling of "Nuclear" to Nucular?

How should it be spelled?

Nuclear 32 94.12%

Nucular 2 5.88%

Total:34

Just no.

In this topic, we should alter the spelling of words to adhere to ignorance. Webster would be proud.

The only person I'll ever accept saying "nucular" is Homer Simpson...

And George W Bush.

I work in banking and the one that really grinds my gears is “realtor” being pronounced as “relator”. Gophukurself!

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

I work at a nuclear power plant. I don't like this. I don't like this and I'm calling the police.

What makes you think Nucular is the correct pronounciation?

I hope it's not cause you said so...

Nuclear and Nucular sound completely different to me, and given one is the correct one in the dictionary, i don't know what makes nucular "correct". Would love to hear it though.

Homer is that you?
