Disadvantage actually. Pro has 64 ROPs, XBX only 32 ROPs.

I am sorry. But you are wrong.

I tend to fact check all my claims before posting them, you should try it some time.

LOL. My sources are Sony SDK documentation.

A week ago you were still denying the Pro even uses those features.

I have never made the assertion that the Pro lacks Rapid Packed Math.

Prove me otherwise. Go on. Do it. I dare you. ;)

You clearly doubted that AMD developed this Vega feature together with Sony and that Sony uses Vega features in the Pro.

I am way to lazy to search for the thread or the post.... you know that you did.

why was the op updated with a bullshit post from reddit thats almost a year old, where the poster himself says "wait for PSX'17" which was obviously debunked to hell and back.

It's all nonsense, stop playing into the egos of these idiots.

how did this turn into a sony vs microsoft again?

shouldn't the moderator be banning this garbage that is derailing this thread?

now on topic. it would be an incredible feat to make PS3 games backwards compatible without any online patches like the way it 360 works on xb1.  tho I hope they do that and allow the game patches to come through as well.

I hope they do that. I have some 120 PS3 games.

I also have over 100 PS3 games, but I haven't turned my PS3 on since I bought PS4 and probably won't care much about playing PS3 games on PS5... Sure that some older games I do like to replay, but also prefer the improvements they do on remasters.

But sure, more option is better if there aren't a significant additional cost.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

I want legit 4K HDR games, not the sub 4K we have now. Not to mention the vastly differences in quality of HDR implementation between games.

Can I hear an Amen? Amen.

I just want a solid framerate. no garbage in between. if its 30 its 30. if its 60. its 60.
also. backwards compatiblity with digital games. I have no reason to not buy discs if you won't make your digital from previous gens work on all consoles. because its just adds clutter to the library. I have around 100 discs. if I had those in digital games. if I ever wanted to download something I'd have to traverse the lists. considering I also have some 50+ digital games.

also. add quality control. PSN is not steam. and it should never be. we need quality games. so its easy to search and see what is good and what is not.

I don't believe this.
