The commercial I posted and the one Mandalore76 posted at least have a certain unique charm to them, this one is just plain gross, what were they thinking when they came up with the idea.

Watching that scene from Monty Python's Meaning of Life I guess.

DO NOT WATCH WHAT'S BELOW WHILE YOU'RE EATING!!!!!

Now that the horrors of that are over, here's a more wholesome Nintendo commercial.

I preferred to not to watch the first video even if I was not eating, but the Smash Bros. commercial is cool.

Finally!!!, though I wonder if it'll actually come out this year, it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't.

The eventuality of an anomaly

Pikmin 3 Deluxe seems a very lazy port: it's only 720p docked (same as Wii U) and 576p portable.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

Pikmin is a small franchise so Nintendo didn't put a lot of work behind it. The irony is that if this sells a couple million, then they might put more effort behind a Pikmin 4.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Played the demo yesterday and I don't like the new gyro controls. It was disorientating and you had to constantly be resetting the pointer due to the gyro-drift. The WiiU version seems to have an assisted camera that moves with respect to your heading. At least the IR didn't need any resetting, you just had to joint at the sensor bar.

Having co-op in the story was very nice though... shame about the controls.

That's been popping up on my YouTube page as well.  Have you seen the Donkey Kong Jr "Help Save Papa!" commercial?

I actually like them. Also, did not know Mario Bros ever came to Atari.

Yep, since the Famicom didn't come to NA as the NES until 1986, to get sales outside of Japan, Mario Bros. was released in 1983 on the Atari 2600 (July) and 5200 (December).  In 84', it released on PC's (PC-88, Apple II, Commodore 64).  By 87' it was on so many other platforms already that I guess even though the NES had launched worldwide, Nintendo didn't mind continuing to port it out to the Atari 7800, Amstrad CPC, and the ZX Spectrum as well.

Then we have a better reason to get the Switch port of Pikmin 3. :)

Didn't Nintendo literally create extra campaigns, a new co-op mode for the campaign, and introduce the Piklopedia back in? I don't know, that seems like a lot to me, which makes it even more bizarre they under delivered on graphics changes.
