So did Far Cry only sell 318K in its first month? That's extremely bad.

2nd month. Overall it is at 681k.

So Ratchet and Clank has sold more in 2 weeks than Quantum Break did in 3 weeks.

Will Gears be the only console exclusive that actually sells well? Are X1 owners going to step up and buy games?

Also world wide hardware PS4 sales are now consistently 2:1 to Xbox One. While in Europe it is 3:1 or more.
In terms of software sales, world wide the PS4 is selling just under 3:1 to X1.

Is X1 going to be seen as a viable sales platform for game developers with that sort of difference in the future? If it grows to 4:1 or 5:1?

In the USA market more software has been sold per Xbox One consumer than per PlayStation 4 consumer relative to their installbases.

As of March 2016 NPD, Xbox One has a 5.3 physical-only tie ratio, while the PlayStation 4 has a 5.2 tie ratio.

The strength of the USA market alone is enough to compel game developers to continue support for the platform regardless of how it's performing outside of the USA.

And there are even some titles where US LTD sales are greater for the Xbox One SKU....for example, when you look at the standalone software market, Call of Duty: Black Ops III has sold +5% on Xbox One vs. the PS4 version.

Another example is Star Wars: Battlefront, where the Xbox One version has outsold the PS4 version by +12%.

and that does not even account digital sales ratios, wich should be a tad higher for xbox one, too

btw can you give some insight on the revenue vs unit sales split.
so when madden ps4 vs xb1 salesratio is 61:39, is the revenue split more in favour of the xbox one with 59:41 with more ultimate editions etc. sold?

that's the real interesting stuff, that tells you something about the different platform demographics

Strange, I thought that the XB and 360 would have been higher than the PS2 and PS3.

The underdog generally has a higher attach ratio. The Xbox tie ratio is generally higher than Playstation in Europe believe it or not. And for the same reason the PS3's tie ratio was higher than 360's in the US. It's something to do with when the growth of a systems install base is slower, the average of games to hardware increases.
