probably more like 1 but i really liked the weapons in dark souls 2. what i definitely don't want to see again are purchaseable health regenerating item like life gems. if you allow people to stock 99 of those in your inventory you might as well come up with an easy difficulty mode.
This pretty much sums up how awesome ds1 pvp was. Dead angles, wicked combos, roll backstabs, fast pace. The only thing ds2 got right was the turtle punish. (embedding disabled)
The way I see it, they're taking things from Demon's Souls (i.e: the mana bar). They'll probably combo'd Dark Souls 1 and 2 into the same mix. It has some Bloodborne atmosphere, and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, yet.
Am I the only one who love 2 more than 1? Because of.....
1. more areas = more exploration
2. more varieties of sorceries, miracles, pyromancies and hexes
3. more bosses
4. more lore and stories
5. easier level up
6. more dlcs (and badass bosses in each dlcs)

More like 1 when it comes to the lore, world building, NPCs, level design, and epic bosses.
More like 2 when it come to the gameplay in general. More variety in playing styles, something to counter back-stabs.... anything....please
. Also the ability to reset yout stats.
As someone has said, I want the positives of both games.

I really agree with those. Also I wish they would add in sidestepping like how it's done in the witcher 3. I really liked being able to go with either a roll or a side step on a whim. it would definitely make pvp more interesting and less predictable.

That would be wonderful.
I always thought that holding the weapon with both hand while hanging the shield on the back should have been implied as a strong defense against backstabs. It doesn't make sense that backstabbing does as much damage even through the shield:

DSII had a ring and an armor effective against it. That's why I enjoyed DSII PvP much more than DS.
I know it's not included in your question but I'd prefer it too be like Demons Souls, that game is superior to dark souls 1 and 2. But out of your options then yes, I agree I'd like it to be like dark souls 1
