Obi Wan was probably gay. His closest relationships were with 2 males. Or he might even have been a paedophile, which could be one reason why Anakin turned to the dark side. As a kind of analogue of the Catholic clergy, which forbids marriage, it is likely to have lead to similar situations where some Jedi with paedophilic tendancies could not overcome the allure of all those young padawans under their care. Perhaps Anakin killed all the padawans because he wanted to save them from a life of sexual abuse, like he suffered under Obi Wan.
