here is why:
- Past Assassins Creed Games where very different and always had an unique new feature. We had Assassins Cred 3 which introduce Naval Battles and a big open world american continent, Assassins Creed 4 with high focus on naval battles with seamless switchting from ship control to 3rd person gameplay and co and as an nextgen consoles start title, and we got assassins creed unity as the first true nextgen assassins creed, scratching all the naval battles and getting "back to the roots" by focussing on just one big open world city with new impressive graphics engine. Assassins Creed Syndicate on the other hand does look alot like an Assassins Creed Unity 1.5 Version with very similar gameplay elements and co. Really whats new? Whats the unique feature? Coaches? :D
- Assassins Creed Unity made alot damage to the assassins creed brand and wasnt recieved as good as other titles. Scince Syndicate is very similar to Unity, many people might lost interest in the series.
- Ubisoft at all got an bad reputation in the near past with their games like Watchdogs, AC: Unity and the crew dissapointed the fans
- The series already fight against decreasing sales each year
- We have a pretty strong lineup for the nextgen system this fall which wasnt the case past 2 years (halo 5, Battlefront, Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, Rainbow 6 and more).
All previous assassins creed games kindled this "i need this"- feeling for me. I really wanted to have my own crew and ship and seamless naval battles in AC4 and i really want the first true nextgen Assassins creed game. But Syndicate? It doesnt have anything im interested in. Unity was an dissapointemt and Syndicate looks very similar to unity.
Your opinion?
