I love Uncharted 1-3, but The Last of Us is already much superior to them. So, yep, it will be awesome.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Well

Sequels usually by NaughtyDog has been great

Crash Bandicout < Crash Bandicout 2
Jax and Dexter < Jax and Dexter 2
Uncharted < Uncharted 2

And the 3 in each the series were great too

but thing is, i don't think they will do a sequel to TLoU, i think (since they are making U4) we will see an Uncharted 5 and than a new IP, or may be just a new IP after U4.

I think they will and I'd totally dig it if it features this older Ellie trying to get by after Joel's death. She might sacrifice herself in the end to help make a cure.

2015 Uncharted 4

2017 The Last of Us 2

2019 Savage Starlight/new IP

The hype behind it will be incredible from the gaming media and more importantly, social media.

Regarding quality, I dont quite think that a sequel will have the emotional impact that the original had with people... But the core gameplay and graphical prowess will be leaps beyond TLoU.

Well TLoU is almost perfect as is, at least as an experience. I suppose they could add some cool gameplay stuff and of course make the graphics even more impressive.

Im hoping for TLOU2 but it will never come even close to TLOU story and atmosphere, original story is always sth else and what made TLOU soooo good was the perfect story but anyway as i said i really wish we see TLOU2 one day.

more crafting.  More weapons.  More enemies.  More open areas.  There ya go great sequel Batman Arkham City is kinda a nice template as far as improving a sequel.

Stop it before the "overhyped" police run up in here.

I was thinking about this the other day though. Ok, so we already have Runners, Clickers and Bloaters.

What if in TLOU2, the infected virus got to the point where it could evolve it's infected victims into having the ability to fly and swim? So basically there would be an aquatic type infected and an airborne/flying type infected.

The new aquatic infected would make it so that survivors aren't even safe when they get in certain areas of water. The aquatic infected would be more of a Stealth-aggressive type that stays beneath the surface, rarely shows itself outside of the water and waits for anything to get in the water with it. It would be so aggressive that it would even attack and drag a runner-infected under if it got near it.

The flyers would be the predators of the skies. They would add a layer that would make being seen out in the open a very dangerous thing. If Flyer's are around, you would have no choice but to stay undercover and find ways to move around without being seen out in the open. They would be able to grab a survivor and fly off with them causing an instant game over or something.

How would you guys see these enemies being in the game? Do you think these enemies could be put in the game while still still have that same classic TLOU feel? Would they be able to pull it off?

That's true. Maybe make it open world like Arkham City did. Or semi-open world.

Maybe by actually delivering what was shown at E3. With prettier graphics.

oh I didn't mean open world I just meant more open areas for fights like how they would give you a two story building to do the one encounter in Pittsburgh that can now be a bigger area and maybe 3 stories with more in depth AI
