I lol'd.

Why was that funny?

Their biggest score is 100.000 with forza 3. That's pretty laughable

Because these days most racing games sell like crap in Japan. The genre has become pretty niche for the most part.

The highest selling Forza was 3 at 0.1m (FM4 dropped to 0.06m). Need for Speed, Burnout, F1 etc have similarly bad sales. Even Gran Turismo has seen a big drop off (from 1 to 5: 2.54m -> 1.69m -> 1.87m -> 1.1m -> 0.81m).

Mario Kart is probably the biggest racing series left in Japan, but MK8 will likley still rank pretty low compared to many of its predecessors (in part due to the WiiU's sales of course).

LOL.. come on why write stuff like this.. as if Xbone will do well.

Would be truly hilarious if Xbox One surprises everyone with great sales, but I think we all know it's fate :(

thats probably due more to a decline of home consoles than a decline in the genre though, wouldn't you think?  I guess the two kind of go hand in hand though... Either way, of all of microsofts big properties, I would imagine Forza would probably have the most appeal in the japanese region, sad as it is...

Oh Forza's pretty popular in Japan alright...

It will sell poorly in Japan.Only about 70-80,000 week one.

Vita and PS4 also had an amazing start in Japan. Look where they're at now.
Good for the Xbone but I don't think they'll do much better than the 360.

Vita will do good numbers in Japan, its already has a close to 3 million installbase. The PS4 will pick up to, when the Japanese developed software will start to roll in. But all in all, the Japanese hardware market seems to decline for every manufacturer this generation
