The Vita looks like its selling at par with the Dreamcast. Its a failure and Sony themselves are barely supporting it.
It has a few games I want to play, but I can wait for more price cuts.

"3DS shows that the sector is still there and that Nintendo is doing very well in it, so there is a market to harness."
That quote alone is basically saying Nintendo's success in that market means Vita can have success in it as well.
However, Nintendo actually makes an effort in that market. Sony has basically given up and is trying to make other uses for the Vita.

Not saying Sony is putting a lot of effort saving the vita, but that's a compliment for Nintendo too, and he's always looking the things for the dark side.

Video games sites and internet would be boring. And bad for us the gamers, monopolies are never good.
Correct. You just can't get the same quality experience with touch screen phones.
And now, think Sony why that is. It's not because people like handhelds that much. It's because it has games that are nowhere else and they are practically blackmailed to get one.
Now go and do something about it! Find something to blackmail us!
