bolded: sum wii u's fw sales for each region, it's about a million, wich is the same. also, ps4 having 1M+ doesn't mean much since ps3 did it too, and in less time. factor that the 1M + includes japan pre orders, wich are only for 2014. basically, ps4's numbers are being overly glorified.

proof? More like you are saying that to try to concince others otherwise................. Sorry, it is reported everywhere, amazon, retailers, sony, and on and on how strong ps4 pre-orders are. Be in denail all you want, it's a conspiracy lol.

PROOF OF WHAT? doesn't get more simple than: ps3 also had 1M + pre orders in less time than ps4 = ps4 having 1M + pre orders doesn't mean much.

apparently you spoke as if I had said ps4 DOESN'T have 1M+ pre orders. I can't imagine how you would think that, considering I didn't write anything like that. so you probably read what you want to read.

Again.. FALSE... Sony never said that.

PS3 what? lol

PS4 preorder already topped PS3 sales launch... not only preorder... real SALES.

And PS4 preorders in Japan started two weeks ago... so no.

bolded: isn't that just more proof to what I said? ps3 also passed a million pre orders and you claim it didn't sell that. that means ps4's numbers can't be predicted with pre orders alone. it doesn't work with any console, really.

False... Sony never said PS3 passed 1 million preorders... if your base was in the IFA report that happened in Sep 2006 I can list some reporst says over 2 million preorders for PS4 lol.

very reasonable. they have the games to sell 5+ mill by then.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

Ps3 never had that many pre-orders, everything you said is wrong.

Its in the bank, they are doing everything right.

lol its more microsoft did everything wrong.  the pandering part isnt something thats actually a right unless people need coddling. its so easy to hate microsoft and get sucked into sonys bs

sony-we never planned on drm but people ignore a freakin patent that prove otherwise

http://www.ibtimes.com/sony-files-patent-curb-access-used-video-games-1005876

microsoft was their own enemy

They are doing everything right dude, they never followed MS policies they mock them about it  on E3 and took that chance to get on the consumers side thats no luck thats taking advantage, their marketing is clear and to the point this time, they are launching at an affordable price and in the mind of the consumer the PS4 is more powerful than the X1 and 100$ cheaper, redesigned the DS4 and they even got away with charging for online, there's over a million pre-orders already and lots of games coming thats doing everything right specially if you compare it to the PS3 launch.

Only the obvious activision, ubisoft and ea titles of course, those being cod, bf, ac etc. Considering how well they perform on current gen, its a sure-fire bet that people interested in the next gen, seeing said popular games to be featured and specfically designed to complement the new hardware, will make the jump. IMO obviously.

Of course, if the ps4 launch were like the ps3 launch where lesser known titles and new IP's titles launched with the systems, then I wouldn't dare suggest 5 mil for the ps4 by the end of the FY.

The problem is my PS3 can already play COD, and AC and many other games that PS4 is toutting?

Why should I spend $500 to play one game, when I can play it for $60.
