Jay isn't here to defend himself but I am for both, you haven't got"controversial" taste you have an extremely narrow taste in games, we have no problem with you talking about something, just when you go on and on and hate on everything for the sake of making a scene, we lead the pack? Well I'm welsh, leading sheep is my thing, but ill assume its over the skype issue. Firstly you brought the same negativity you show here to there, difference is on skype theres no moderation, no risk of being banned, and a few users, jay and myself simple had enough of your constant whining so we said it as it was. Your the guy who couldn't handle someone disagreeing with you so you left. Simple as that.

lol @Star, what's been said been said, and ill leave it at that. I don't want my last comment in here to be that of arguments or to be banned because I took it to far that has recently been the case.

Had a while to think about what i wanted to do now its properly sunk in that this thread is closing, where's I understand the anger from the xbox community (myself included) due to recent events that have happened I also remember the reason why I came to this site, or more importantly this thread in the first place . That being the xbox community, that admittedly was extremely small compared to Sony fans and Nintendo fans weren't any less passionate about they're console of choice. Whilst the core of the xbox community has left and I along with what's left will leave in the next few months, I understand its important to show people who lurk the site that's theres still a small corner of the world that they can come and talk about xbox with other enthusiasts and a place for a new bunch of xbox fans to grow, so where's I was going to sign out and say goodbye, ill stay for the time being and support Shikas thread and Slades E3 thread but for this thread, this is my last comment. So long empire, I've grown to like the users in here, where's theres been moments of disagreements, theres also been just as much fun times to remember. I will miss this thread when its gone.

Edit 2: Damn it's been a while since I was in this thread and shit the way the Empire thread almost ended is almost sad with some bitching and moaning. Unfortunately it seems the Republic thread is heading this way too and it really disappoints me but what can I really do? :-p Might as well lock the Republic thread since no one(by that I mean the internet) will get an X1 and magically play COD, FIFA, Madden, Assassin's Creed, and  those yearly franchise on PC. Thank fucking god for editing posts in lock threads  

 

I wonder if anyone will ever get to see this?

People go to gaming websites and forums to stay informed and have conversations with other people who share the same hobby (although VGC being the cesspool it is I don't know how its so popular). When a user posts mainly negative things (specially if its a constant repetition) it drains the mood. Can't blame people for becoming annoyed when they go somewhere to have an adult discussion only to come away from it looking for the nearest razor.

The moment you want "adult" discussions, but you dislike opposite opinions... Well, this speaks to itself doesn't it lol

Yes, when that person repeats the same stories over and over again. It's childish to keep cramming the same lines down peoples throats just to get a reaction.

Somehow my themes of discussion were amazing, I just wanted to end it but got more and more responses and I wouldn't let anymore without response (it would be bad manners). 

Oh and btw, adults have the ability to ignore.
