What is the point of 6750 XT?

Also do Nvidia gpus use less Vram. They gave so much less than AMD cards. Some 3070 Ti's are coming in stock but only 8 GB vram. At what resolution it becomes a problem.

Something something Milk something something.

Nvidia does use less Vram but the gap has shortened with RDNA 2. Personally I could never recommend a 3070 Ti GPU because of it. It's better to save money and get something like a 3070 or 3060 Ti or step up and get 3080. Typically if you are playing 1440p resolution, 8GB should be fine. If you are playing anything above, you could run into some level of Vram issues. 10GB might not seem like a big leap vs 8gb but many games use more than 8 but less than 10 when it comes to 4k.

You could also wait for Lovelace that's around the corner to wait till it's closer to that. But typically, I recommend getting a 6800 over 3070 Ti because while the 3070 Ti is powerful, the Vram is too limiting for it's price class.

Yea definitely waiting and seeing what comes next. Was asking about 3070 Ti in particular as it was sale for around same price (Around $900 CAD) as some 3070's are going for recently. Get sold out fast but stock is starting to show up. Let's hope for better launch of next gen of cards.

Those who prefer to treat achievements as a personal litany of accomplishment will be able to switch off public accessibility via the Epic Store's privacy controls.

AMD Adrenalin software reportedly alters user-set BIOS CPU settings
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/amd-adrenalin-software-reportedly-alters-user-set-bios-cpu-settings/
Reports are surfacing suggesting that AMD’s Adrenalin software for Radeon graphics cards is inadvertently altering the Precision Boost Overdrive settings of systems equipped with Ryzen CPUs. The fact that it’s doing it without user consent is the issue. When applying GPU profiles, the automatic enabling PBO can lead to issues for users with otherwise stable overclocks.
News of the issue comes via Igor’s Lab following an investigation. It says that the integration of AMD’s Ryzen Master CPU software and Adrenalin Radeon software is by default allowing the program to alter CPU overclocking parameters without user consent.

If I'm not mistaken, AMD did the xx50 treatment to the cards that used the full chip. The 6700XT used the full Navi 22 chip and that's why it has gotten the 6750XT version, like the 6900XT that uses the full Navi 21 chip and gets the 6950 model.

That's also why there's no 6850 or 6650 card.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 vs. i5-12400 & 5600X CPU Review & Benchmarks

It performs very similarly to 5600X while costing less and both 12400 and 5600 perform about the same with some wins for Intel and some wins for AMD. So typically it will come down to the price of the rest of the components. If you are on an older AMD board, it will be better to upgrade to this than to spend money in a entirely new platform. Intel could also have issues with finding DDR4 motherboards and DDR5 is still very expensive.

I wonder if that means those titles will be coming with subtitles, because we already have a few Chinese games on Steam that flat out don't come with any at all, and we already have a Chinese version of Steam, so it kinda makes releasing non subtitle games on WW Steam kinda pointless.

You'd think one would be shocked by someone seeing your cheevos on EGS, but since EGS doesn't like hentai/porn games, I don't think it's going to matter who sees what cheevos you've got on there.

Achievements/trophies are a better indicator of time investment on a platform than an indicator of gamer skills (some exceptions may apply).
