Blizzard trying its hardest to nerf World of Warcraft. This time, emotes are cut and changed -

From their 9.1.5 patch notes.. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/ptr-915-development-notes/1082616/17

- Drool, cough, burp, fart, whistle, spit, and moon no longer change when used while targeting a player.
- Pounce and groan have been adjusted when used while targeting a player.
- 4 new emotes have been added – Huzzah, magnificent, impressed, and wince.
- Kick, stink, shake, and moan have been removed.
- Developers’ note: Some of these emotes seem to have harmless intentions at a glance, but when used while targeting another player, their intentions can turn unexpectedly suggestive or intrusive. We’ve made adjustments to these emotes with negative connotations towards another player, while also adding a few new ones.

Small thing. But these have been in the same since I started playing and as a long time player this rubs me the wrong way (no pun intended). On the bright side they are buffing Night Fae covenant for rogues lol. Too little too late for that one I think xP

This is them just avoiding their core issue (treating their staff like shit/ignoring what the players actually want), but my next bet is them going onwards to changing "sexually seductive" outfits. I'll lose my shit if they decide to change those up, or worse, the character models in general (I know back in Mists that they had a bug that made pandaren player models naked underneath the outfits).

Honestly its all a bunch of tosh. Just reading those patch note feels like its written by an average Resetera poster. Sad how one of my favourite gaming companies goes to trash. Its like Konami, where they just pissed away all their good will and legacy.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask gets a must-have HD Texture Pack
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/the-legend-of-zelda-majoras-mask-gets-a-must-have-hd-texture-pack/
YouTube’s Nerrel has released a must-have HD Texture Pack for the Nintendo 64 classic Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. PC gamers can download it and use it (provided they have a legitimate copy of the game) via a Nintendo 64 emulator.
Now the good news here is that there is an auto-installer. By using this, it will be much easier to mod and replace the vanilla textures. There is also a manual way via which you can install this HD Texture Pack. However, we don’t recommend that one.
Nerrel has also released a detailed video about how you can setup different emulators and patch the game. Thus, we highly recommend watching it. You can also find links about these Nintendo 64 emulators in its description.

New World has the silliest lore about why it doesn't have mounts
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/new-world-has-the-silliest-lore-about-why-it-doesnt-have-mounts/
Amazon Game Studios' New World has managed to launch successfully, though not without a few issues, but a perennial theme with New World even before release has been the absence of mounts.

New WoW Classic servers offer a fresh start with faster leveling, harder raids
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/wow-classic-season-of-mastery/
A major part of the appeal of World of Warcraft Classic was the ability to re-experience the launch of a landmark MMO as if it were a brand new game. But now that WoW Classic has moved onto the Burning Crusade expansion, that experience has largely faded as the community has matured and focused more on endgame content. For players still hungry for that "fresh start" feeling, Blizzard is about to roll out an entirely new set of WoW Classic servers that'll require making a brand new character. Even more interesting, though, is that these new servers will also feature faster leveling speeds and harder raid bosses that release more frequently.

You won't need a high-end PC to run Back 4 Blood

Left 4 Dead is back—Back 4 Blood, that is, the upcoming co-op zombie shooter from Turtle Rock Studios that is basically Left 4 Dead 3 in all but name. It's not the most original game concept ever, but if you've been hankering for a fresh round of that kind of zombie-slaughtering adventure, it could be exactly what you're looking for.

Starfield has twice as much dialog as Skyrim
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/starfield-has-twice-as-much-dialog-as-skyrim/
Bethesda's sci-fi RPG Starfield promises to be a big, sprawling sci-fi romp—"like Skyrim in space," creative director Todd Howard said earlier this year. But it definitely won't be all action. Howard told an audience at the Tokyo Game Show earlier today (via Nibellion on Twitter) that the game will contain more than 150,000 lines of dialog.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters looks like a grimdark XCOM in first gameplay footage
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/warhammer-40000-chaos-gate-daemonhunters-looks-like-a-grimdark-xcom-in-first-gameplay-footage/
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is an extremely Warhammer-ass videogame title, and the majestically overwrought cinematic that rolled out in August absolutely matched that energy. Somehow, though, the gameplay reveal trailer that dropped today manages to surpass it all with a bombastic call to arms exhorting the Grey Knights to strike down the vile corruption of Chaos.

Bloober Team is teasing a new Layers of Fear
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/bloober-team-is-teasing-a-new-layers-of-fear/
Horror developer Bloober Team is teasing a return to Layers of Fear, with a new trailer harkening back to the original 2016 game's tortured painter.
The new trailer, a short vignette rendered in Unreal Engine 5, briefly shows us an artist struggling to put brush to paper. As a creative, I can empathise with how scary a blank canvas can be, but it seems like there are more supernatural shenanigans afoot here. Between ghostly voices ushering you to go back and "finish what you started", it sounds like this will be a more direct sequel to the first Layers of Fear, which followed a once-famous artist struggling to complete their magnum opus.

China is shutting down Aluminium, Textile and many more industries

https://tfiglobalnews.com/2021/09/27/china-is-shutting-down-aluminum-textile-and-many-more-industries/

"Why is China failing to produce electricity? China is the biggest coal consumer in the world. The Communist nation still consumes over 56 per cent coal as a part of its total energy consumption. The fossil fuel is the most vital part of China’s energy security.

Such a high concentration of thermal power in China means that any decline in coal supply hurts its ability to generate sufficient electricity. Presently, China is facing a serious shortfall of Australian coal. Last year, Beijing imposed an unofficial ban on Australian coal that immediately led to Southern provinces in the Communist country going dark.

Also, Chinese thermal power plants are accustomed to working on Australian coal and it is not possible for such power plants to replace all their equipment and start operating on non-Australian coal."

Oh boy, here comes more shortages!

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If Capcom really wants PC gaming to be that prominent in their business, then they need to treat PC gaming better.

- No more stuttering nonsense like with RE Village that took 4 months to fix and they only really did it because of the backlash from gamers and Digital Foundry and their rant video.
- Devil May Cry 5 on PC still hasn't gotten the next gen upgrade with Ray Tracing and such.
- Monster Hunter needs to be simulations release instead of being delayed on PC

Capcom has gotten much better over the years when it comes to their PC releases but they still got ways to go

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I can understand that coal from different places have different dross or unwanted minerals that can affect its combustion, but enough to shut down a plant? Unlikely.

What is more likely is that China hasn't found another source that sells them as much coal as Australia did, and that lack of coal is what makes China shut plants down.
