Both NIS and Capcom are being turds right now. No next gen upgrade for DMC V on PC? You know, the platform that had Ray Tracing 2 years prior? Bruhs

Modders will add this in as always

It's so weird how every new gen that's looming on the horizon has Jap pubs going back to their shtity ways. We've got some EU and US studios/pubs offering us free sodding upgrades or much deeper discounts for them, and here's NIS just pulling bs along with SE and Capcom.

Why does Japan still think it's still at the centre of gaming?.

I doubt modders will be able to add in the exact level of RT and those other modes, Yuri.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Amazon still hasn't listed the 3080. Everything's so weird.

GN has a new video where they investigated the supply issues by talking to their partners, Nvidia and retailers.

TLDW: Was the usual amount of production as previous launches, just the demand was massively high to the point where it was being compared to black friday. Websites have potato servers hence the continuous crashes. Evga commented that they are replenishing stock every couple days and partners are using air shipping to get GPUs in as fast as possible. Probably will be out of stock until mid to late October.

Just went here to post it. Good video.

Maybe I really need to buy the 3090 if I can't get a 3080.

If you're an even moderately Online Person and a fan of video games, chances are you're aware of the Twitter account @CanYouPetTheDog. Its mission is simple: to create "a catalog of pettable and non-pettable dogs in video games," compiled from screenshots and video clips sent in by followers (or "manual input resulting in visual representation of petting", if you're fancy). It's sometimes hard to find truly wholesome content at the intersection of Twitter and gaming, but Can You Pet the Dog? is a stand-out example of people coming together to share their gaming knowledge just to bring a little extra joy to anyone else who sees it.
Now, Can You Pet the Dog? have teamed up with another force for good in the gaming world: the creators of Humble Bundle, a digital storefront known for its support of numerous charitable causes. The 'You Can Pet the Dog' Bundle is available for purchase between now and October 1st, and features games across numerous genres with one unifying feature: each game on offer features at least one cute dog and, yes, your character can pet them.

Microsoft Flight Simulator mod corrects the shocking omission of a giant Gundam statue
https://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-mod-corrects-the-shocking-omission-of-a-giant-gundam-statue/
The latest entry in Microsoft's Flight Simulator franchise launched last month to positive reviews—but the often hilarious failures of its AI generated landmarks have become something of a meme unto themselves. You see, Flight Simulator uses satellite images to generate its maps, which means it's sort of left guessing when it comes to fine details. British players in particular were quick to point out that Buckingham Palace and Edinburgh Castle have both been re-imagined as brutalist post-war office blocks (a problem shared by a number of other castles around Europe, it seems). Meanwhile, anything that has the nerve not to be broadly rectangular in shape tends to get omitted altogether—the London Eye was one such victim, as are most egregiously humanoid statues.
Modder jlawrence124 spotted one such glaring oversight, and was moved to do something about it. The icon in question on this occasion was the Gundam statue—an 18-metre-tall robot statue that stands proudly alongside the Gundam Factory in Yokohama, Japan. Yes, this is a real thing—it's currently under construction and due for its official unveiling sometime in 2020; which may further account for its absence from Flight Simulator, as it's likely just too new to have been present on the satellite images used by the game. Oh, and did I mention it moves? Yeah, it moves. The robot statue moves.
Commenting on their work, jlawrence124 explained: "Japanese engineers have recently constructed a 1-to-1 scale, moving Gundam at the Gundam Factory in Yokohama. Because the mapping data was outdated, the factory in it's[sic] current state does not exist, but I just placed the model in the parking lot." They then admitted to taking some creative liberties with the statue while they were designing the mod: "I made the scale of the statue larger because why not :)", before adding, "I can do a more realistic scaled version in the future if someone wants it." Which is very generous of them to offer, but really, what better time to literally go big or go home? You're already in the plane.

Crysis Remastered suffers from single-thread CPU issues, just like the original game
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/crysis-remastered-suffers-from-single-threaded-cpu-issues-just-like-the-original-game/
One of the reasons most PC gamers wanted a new version – or remaster/remake if you will – of the first Crysis was due to the game’s inability to take advantage of more than one/two CPU cores. Back in 2007, Crytek assumed that future PC games would be focusing on single-thread CPU performance. As such, the original Crysis is heavily CPU bottlenecked, even on modern-day systems. And, unfortunately, Crysis Remastered suffers from the very same CPU optimization issues.

Make clones, colonize planets, and prep for the Holy Crusade in this new sci-fi strategy game
https://www.pcgamer.com/make-clones-colonize-planets-and-prep-for-the-holy-crusade-in-this-new-sci-fi-strategy-game/
Ragnorium sounds like an unusual sort of colony-building game. In the distant future, space exploration has been privatized, and far-flung human colonies are established by clones. Your job is to create them, lead them to their new home, establish an outpost, guide it through technological eras, and deal with the problems that will inevitably crop up—including a Holy Crusade, which is apparently headed your way with ill intent.

After banning WeChat, the US government is turning its focus to Tencent's gaming concerns
https://www.pcgamer.com/after-banning-wechat-the-us-government-is-turning-its-focus-to-tencents-gaming-concerns/
When US President Donald Trump issued an executive order banning the Tencent-owned WeChat app back in August, there was speculation that the Chinese conglomerate's voluminous gaming portfolio might also come under scrutiny. Tencent owns Riot Games and holds a 40 percent stake in Epic Games—its fingers are in dozens of other pies as well.
Bloomberg reports that the scrutiny has commenced: the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US has reportedly written to companies including Riot Games and Epic Games on the topic of their handling of personal data security.
