Lol so true. Hopefully EA coming back onto steam means that eventually, they will get rid of Origin.

The kicker is when you have all these launchers running in the background, they do eventually take enough ram to become noticeable.

I'd really love for Ubisoft and Bethesda to follow suit, because their stores are just horrible to use and well, they hardly support a thriving modding community like the one you find on Steam, as well as built in forums and full gamepad support. Their stores are practically useless to me.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

well fucking great bethesda cares so much about their launcher the page where you can grab it still has doom eternal listed as coming soon LMAO

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

How can some of you have problems with the launchers taking too much memory? I have to manually launch them and almost never have more than two of them running at the same time.

Anyway, the Tiger Lake processors based on Willow Cove are the for laptops, right?

Well I have 32GB of ram so it doesn't really matter for me but the idea is still annoying.

And yea, it's for laptops since Intel is only doing 10nm for laptops right now. Once they get the kinks worked out for 10nm, it should eventually go into desktop unless they go 7nm instead but who knows at this point.

They will probably go with 10nm chips. I mean, Alder lake is supposed to come in 10nm chips in 2021-2022, right?

And I hope there will be a Laptop out there that's specced exactly the same with either a Renoir and Tiger Lake CPU so we can have some Apples to Apples comparison here like with the XMG Core 15 between Renoir and Comet Lake.

With the launch getting closer, we're starting to get more leaks from Nvidia's new cards:

Alleged NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 PCB pictured

https://videocardz.com/newz/alleged-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3090-pcb-pictured

A photo of the upcoming Ampere graphics card has been posted on Reddit. The graphics card appears to have 11 memory modules (likely GDDR6X) around the GPU. It is also worth noticing how closely the memory is put together. This is possibly why some leakers referred to the design as compact and complex.

The reason the GPU area sticks out on the back is simple. the leaker deliberately put Intel CPU to cover the area (original picture here). The leaker did say that there is an external chip on the back, but it was not revealed what was its purpose.

The NVLink finger appears to have a different design from Turing

So, let's recap:

  • Not a reference card
  • 11 memory modules at the back of the card
  • an external chip at the back of the Ampere chip (it's blocked by the Intel CPU)
  • Different NVLink (will you need a new bridge?)
  • 3x8-pin power connectors

Capcom has updated its Platinum Titles list, revealing that Resident Evil 7 is its second top selling game of all time. The best selling game for Capcom is Monster Hunter World (which has sold 16.1 million units). Resident Evil 7 follows with 7.9 million units, surpassing other Resident Evil releases like Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 for old-gen platforms.
What’s also interesting here is that Resident Evil 2 Remake is now the fifth top selling game for Capcom. RE2 Remake came out in January 2019 and has sold 7.2 million units so far. Thus, I’m pretty sure that it will surpass Resident Evil 7 in the next couple of years.
