New Cube World video showcases 16 minutes of brand new mage gameplay footage
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/new-cube-world-video-showcases-16-minutes-of-brand-new-mage-gameplay-footage/
Cube World is a game I was really looking forward eight years ago. And while its creator, Wollay, released its alpha version in 2013, we haven’t heard anything about it since then. Until now. Wollay has just released a new video, showing 16 minutes of new gameplay footage.

HOLY FUCK! BIGGEST NEWS OF THE YEAR! Can't wait!

Can I ask why?

After all, Samsung has been mass producing 96-layer 3D NAND since last year and both them and Toshiba/WD are almost ready to launch their 128-layer products.

https://www.pcgamer.com/crying-suns-the-ftl-inspired-strategy-space-opera-comes-out-this-month/
The tactical rogue-lite space opera Crying Suns went to Kickstarter last year with a pitch for a game inspired by FTL, but more story-focused: The Galactic Empire has collapsed, and humanity's only hope for survival lies with a clone of Admiral Ellys Idaho, the greatest Imperial commander of all time. The crowdfunding campaign was a big success, nearly tripling its €25,000 ($27,400) goal, and very soon—as in September 19—the game will be upon us.

96-layer ? Sure but 128-layers ? That isn't going to come into any meaningful production yet until next year where the new manufacturer is almost certain to have figured it out before that year is out ...

And besides even if the other competitors are technologically ahead, they'll still be more than competitive in terms of cost per bit since their workers are likely paid less than half the salary from other companies as well ...

Eventually, as the new manufacturer becomes more technologically competitive Samsung and the others will start to see their profit margins dry up and soon it becomes unprofitable for them to keep developing NAND flash because of market dumping ...

Well, I don't know about the others, but Samsung already has plants in China, so they benefit too from low wages. Plus, they announced earlier this year that they would double their production capacity in those plants to 220,000 wafers by 2020, which is quite a bit more than the 100,000-150,000 wafers that the Chinese company.

Samsung is fine, for now.
